Remote Job Scam

They reached out with a remote logistics specialist job via email for $70-85/hour. They asked for ID and signed employment contract. They then moved communication from email to text messages. They sent two checks for $4,900 for "home office setup" and gave me the contact information for who to go through for the equipment. Eight days later, my account was drained down to $-1987 due to an “altered” check. KSW is a legitimate company whose name is being used by these scammers. I have also emailed the company.
