This person, who goes by Lee Lor will send a $1,975.50 check to deposit into your bank account. After it clears and shows up in your bank, he will ask you to send $1,500 to someone for “work equipment” through Zelle. He will make it seem like Zelle will not work, and then will ask you to send it through Venmo or other payment methods. For me, it was through Venmo to someone named Kari Hunter. I have attached some photos for proof and reference.

Was contacted by “Lee Lor” from Twin-Metals about a remote position. Sounded too good to be true when he was offering $1,400/week. Was still hopeful and went back and forth through email until he stated he would send a check for “equipment” for the job. Spoiler alert: You don’t need special equipment for a typing job..just a computer and Wi-Fi. Told him to give me a call if this was legit after refusing to deposit a check.
