Came across the Remote Customer Service role they offered on LinkedIn. Seemed very legit, until I saw the orientation I really questioned. Stated that background fee of $30 was 1099 contractors responsibility and $55 fee per paycheck goes to the company. Also a training fee of $20 applied but would be “returned” next day. I knew this was a scam when I verified the address that was listed in one of their emails. It’s actually a Staples store when I checked into it. This is so wrong for these scammers to try and take advantage of people that are already so desperate to find work and make ends meet.
