The scammer called me on my cell phone seeking my mother. I let the call go to voice mail. The message that was left went something like this: "My name is Mr. Patrick from the federal reserve bank cancellations department. Please give us a call at your earliest convenience. This is pertaining to an ongoing investigation for a period of time. My company has been keeping a hold on a certain amount of money under your name. Whether you are aware of the process, it is very important to get back to us on this time sensitive matter, so please get back to us at the earliest convenience at the telephone number 510-751-2350 to get further information. Have a blessed day."
