Offered a free trial(only pay for shipping - standard practice for getting you hooked). Was genuinely interested in trying out their skincare products, but did not want to get locked in so I immediately canceled. Got charged $80+ for a $65 package. But that's not even the issue, the issue is that I already canceled my membership so why am I still getting charged? I try to log in to check my subscription status, and the website says it will send me a "log in link", which it never does. So this company has my credit card information and is freely taking money from it even after I canceled my trial and won't give me access to verify or try to cancel. I have tried to contact their "support" and their response is that they are unable to find any account associated, yet they will continue to charge me $80+/month. Crazy. Absolutely disgusting and predatory business practice.

I cancelled an order that was not shipped but they proceeded with the order anyways. The concierge did not help or provide a solution, did not even answered to my request.

Bad experience on the subsription that we unable to cancel, and force to change subscription plan if we want to cancel. No Integrity, and its kinda force us to keep continue the subscription.

They have below Terms and condition but you cant cancel your subscription, instead you'll be ask to change it to add more item in if you want to cancel:

I tried to cancel but it ask me to subscribe at least 3 items in order to cancel
I tried to email [email protected] only bot response on it.

THIS COMPANY HAS JUST CHARGED ME £48 FOR PRODUCTS I HAVE NOT ORDERED AND FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DINT HAVE. I HAVE EMAILED THEM TO MAKE SURE THRY WOULDNT SEND ME ANYTHING BUT THEY NEVER REPLY. ITS A SCAM THEY HAVE DONE IT TO LOTS OF PEOPLE ITS DISGUSTING AND IM NOT GOING TO LET THEM HAVE MY MONEY
This company Lumin or Luminskin. Will send you some trial products to which you just pay postage. Then not answer emails when you let them know you don't want a subscription for Skincare products. They also show on your account that you have no subscriptions for products and you won't be getting g any. Then they just charge you a large amount for a full set of products and say its on its way and if you want to cancel you have to wait to send it back and you pay the postage to a far away country making it very difficult for you to get your money back and also make you spend a lot of time which you might not have so most people will just give up and lose the money for a subscription they never signed for or cancelled. Its a complete con and they have done it to many people on the Internet there is evidence.

I canceled all orders and subscriptions months ago. The company went ahead and charged my CC that they had on file anyway.

There is no phone number to reach out to Lumin Skin and their website explicitly says:

"Due to a spike in customer inquiries from COVID-19 delays, our expected response time for the Lumin Support Concierge is 6-8 days. Please do not send multiple inquiries, as this will push your inquiry to the back of the queue."

Wow, I cannot imagine why the company has a big spike in "customer inquiries."

Look at their reviews online, lots of unhappy, ripped off customers experiencing the same thing. Cannot get ahold of the company via telephone, and it takes them over a week to even respond to an email inquiry. But then... see below, they wont refund it anyway!

From Lumin Skin's website:

"Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an order cancellation or shipment cancellation once an order has already been created."

The problem is I didn't create an order for them to ship.. so they can charge my CC without an order on file and you cannot contact them to stop the order, that I didn't order.

Sad start ups by too young of folks with no integrity or real life experience I guess. This is the very sad future of customer service with Millennials at the helm.
