Nwana told us Olive was available, we sent her 950 through Zelle, two hours later we get an e mail from Seal Express shipping, Nwana dropped dog off in wrong crate and they can't ship dog unless we rent or lease their crate for between 1200-1500. I smell a rat. Yep I was right no dog and I'm out 950 bucks. Screw these people.

I was looking for a puppy to purchase and came across Luna Shih Tzu Puppy Home online on Thursday 8/12/21. I saw a puppy I was interested in and I filled out my information on the website to see if the puppy I was interested in was available. Shortly thereafter, at 12:30 pm PST, I received a text saying the puppy was available and received 4 pictures of the desired puppy. I was told the puppy was $800 and $150 for shipping, so a total of $950.00.

We then I texted her 3 messages wanting to call and asking a couple of questions. I didn't receive a response back until 7:53 pm that same night. I asked how to reserve the puppy and she texted that it was a $500 fee and then the remainder when we picked her up (at that time we thought about picking her up in person) and then the remainder of payment to be paid at time of pickup. And she asked me for my complete information and if I had Zelle. I had previously asked to do Facetime to see the puppy and she said it was late and we could do it tomorrow.

She texted me the next day, 8/13/21, at 7:25 am PST and said good morning. I asked again to set up a Facetime twice but didn't hear back from her until 4:19 pm. She said her husband would be calling me via Google Duo so that we could see the puppies. He did call and we did see puppies, not the one we specifically wanted but I did see puppies I recognized from the website photos. So at that time we thought they were legitimate.

She texted me again a short while later to tell ask if we had made contact with her husband and we said yes but he didn't have the puppy we wanted to see and he was going to find her and call us back. At that point I asked to call her as I wanted to ask about shipping instead of picking her up. She said yes, she had broken English, but I could understand her. I told her that we wanted to ship the puppy and asked how that worked. She said she could ship her to our door or we could pick her up to the airport. I said we'd like to pick her up at the airport and she told me to send the nearest airports to her. Then I said, I'd like to do this next week (I meant the upcoming week) and she said she couldn't keep her that long as she was available now and had others interested. So I said OK, send me the Zelle details and I will send you the reserve money. She told me the total was $950 and I said, I'll send you $800 and then send the $150 once you make the flight arrangements. She said that was fine and sent me her Zelle info. She told me to write the puppy's name in the memo and to send a screenshot of payment. Luckily, Zelle only allowed me to send $500 (at 5:38 PST)or I would have sent the full $800. I told her that Zelle had limited me to only sending $500 but I would send her $300 in the morning.

So the next morning at 7:11 am PST she contact me again by saying Good Morning. I tried to make the $300 transfer but Zelle denied it as I needed to wait 24 hours before I transferred any additional funds to her. She was adamant that I send her confirmation that the payment went through. She used the excuse that 2 people sent her $500 yesterday and there was a mixup. So I sent her a screenshot that said the transaction was complete. Then she told me to send her an email to the address she provided for Zelle when payment was made. She then told me she was going to her bank to figure out the mixup. Then she texted that "do not send my husband said it cant go through". Then I was online seeing if I could find reviews and saw a review from Yelp pop up that said they were scammed by them; scammed out of $950!! I clicked on the link and it said it was not available. So I screenshot it and sent it to them and asked if it was true. She said not true and sent another text that said it can never be true. Then I told her that I didn't trust her any longer and to refund my $500 or I would go to the authorities and no surprise, I haven't heard from her since. I did send her a request on Zelle to request back my $500.

I should have paid attention to the red flags but I was already in love with the puppy. I will know in the future if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. But now I'd like my money back if possible and to alert others of their scam and to have the website taken down which was just set up on 6/16/21.
