Thanks for this info because He's coming to sell me one tomorrow you should pull up

I have a pic and a lisc plate.

Yesterday 2/8/22 in Rialto California in the neighborhood Walmart parking he approached me selling me a lunar surround system, he was in a green minivan with about 25 boxes in the back it was just too good to be true and sketchy so I didn’t get anything.. be aware of scammers

I have his phone number, address and real name. Let me know if it’s relevant.

Same as others [censored] with a bunch of seemingly new equipment too good to be true makes a deal 500 for some junk. I bought into it. I have added his picture on here. This was in san diego area.

Same person as Scammerbeware I forked out $300 which hurts. If it works at all it might be better than my ancient blueray receiver’s surround sound. Website looked legit at a glance, guys seemed like they were trying to make cash for something that was possibly overstocked by their company. I initially walked away then bought in at lower price, if it’stoo good to be true it probably is, ??

I was at IKEA on 601 SW 41st St Renton Washington, 98057 today (12/3/21) at 11:40 am. As I was leaving, a male, Caucasian, with a mustache, beard, tattoos on his hands, blue coat, blue jeans, 5'10", starting flagging me down at the parking lot. He was driving an older blue/dark green Chevy SUV. He showed me his employer 's fraudulent business license with the secretary of state logo (federal crime). His name is Shane Ja, according to him, 559-341-8286. He is attentive and very good with communication. The boxes have QR codes on the outside which allow you to look up the actual website of the product. The website looks good but it does not look real. No refund policy, or physical locations. The boxes actually contain packaged home entertainment systems (like surround sound systems and projectors) which are real, and even come with paper work such as warranty form and users manual. He tells a very good story of doing installations for an employer. He then says that he has a couple of extras left over that were not installed or needed or cancelled on, and that he wants to offer it for a really low price compared to the thousands of $$ they are apparently worth, rather than ship them back to HQ. DO NOT TAKE the bait. These look real, but they are not worth nearly what the labelling says, and they are missing components such as wiring to even make the system operable out of the box. Reddit, has 20 negative comments about Lunar 1 products from innocent people like me being approached and thinking it was a great deal. I reported the incident to the Tukwila Police Department and gave them his picture and license plate number.

Just got one of these free yesterday, nice sub

Do you have a picture of this guy

A 21st century refresh of the old white van scam. This guy drives up in a nice SUV that is FULL of nice, neatly branded boxes of home entertainment systems. The boxes have QR codes on the outside which allow you to look up the actual website of the product. The boxes actually contain packaged home entertainment systems (like surround sound sytems and projectors) which are real, and even come with paper work such as warranty form and users manual. He tells a very good story of doing installations for the company into Air BnB units for people in order to advertise the product through trial use, while elevating the Air BnB quality for the people who allow him to install them. he even has invoices written out for delivery. IT IS A SCAM. if you try to call him back by phone he will not answer. he offers his ID to come off as legit. It is even a real ID (see attached), surprisingly. He may not have the same payment system as you but his friend who is with him will, and then they will just ask you to pay either of the two. you wont get hold of them again.
