I listed an item for sale on Facebook Market and was contacted by a buyer within an hour that they were very interested and could pick up the item today. The scammer requested that I text them (440- 999-4348) to set up a pickup time. After I texted them on my cell phone, the scammer asked that I verify I was a real person by sending them a 6 digit verification number. At this point I recognized it as a scam and blocked the scammer on Facebook, reported the interaction as a scam, and also blocked them on my cell phone.
