Received email that had Best Buy and Geek Squad logo at top. Titled: Reminder-Auto Renewal $445.48 , notice Network security update . Auto renewal date November 29, 2022. Order ID ZXC8441225789 product- Network security Product code-7483K376489 customer Support number +1 877-427-9810. I never subscribed to Geek Squad for Network Security. I am old, retired and could never afford such a service or have need for it. I called this number 4 different times, each time I was hung up on without a resolution. Nor did they give me any further information to stop the auto renewal. I don't know if they have my bank information. One more detail: the email was sent from billingdepartment-36•[email protected] to [email protected]

The "yes" scam. When I answered the phone the woman said she was from Network Security and then asked, "are you having a good day" i didn't answer yes, I said uh huh and she hung up.

I initially received a pop up on my chrome book telling me there was something wrong with my computer. They stated that they were windows certified and detected problems. I paid them 200 dollars on July 21 of last year, and they initially fixed my computer. They installed several things on my computer to keep it running efficiently, and they were supposed to fix any problem with my computer for one year. They continue to call me and tell me there is something wrong with my computer, even though it is running fine. They have harasesed me since last year by continually calling me even when I told them not to. They call from many different numbers, some of which I cannot call back. Recently, they have used profanity in another language when we tried to talk with them.

The number 505-205-1259 is calling claiming to be a company called "Network Security." They are phishing for personal information by claiming that they have installed a program on your computer. Do not fall victim to them.
