I saw pictures of a coffee table this Instagram account listed online. They INSISTED I pay a deposit via venmo which I did and the rest in cash on Delivery. When it was delivered it looked nothing like the pictures, was damaged, bent and should have gone in the trash. I immediately complained and said if I knew it looked like this I would have never bought it. They encouraged me that it could be fixed and that if not they would take it back. When I tried and obviously it could not and reached out asking for a refund they accused me of bullying said as far as they were conserned the transaction was completed and blocked me on every social media platform with no means of negotiation and recourse. I was scammed into buying something that was nothing what it looked like then forced to keep a defective product. My bank was also no help and would not refund me as it was both through venmo and cash withdrawal from an atm which they insisted upon.
