NJ E-ZPass Spoof Reports & Reviews (1)

Called ezpass not knowing that the number was no longer an ezpass number. I got the number from an ezpass statement I received in the mail with my pin on it from 2007. Called two times and the same thing happened both times. Men answered saying I won a $100 gift card from WalMart. They wanted my name, address, checking account # and credit card #. I did give my name and address but no other information. I then called ezpass to inform them of what happened. I talked to a customer service representative who took the information. She was very pleasant and is going to pass it on. I then talked to the supervisor to tell her about the scam. She took the defensive. She constantly talked over my wife and me about what happened and wound not let us complete our conversation about the scam. We thought we were doing the right thing by letting ezpass know what happened. It was from the supervisor that we found out the number we called was no longer in existence for ezpass. We were just calling to let ezpass know what happened and that a scam was attempted on us with an “old” ezpass number. I am writing to the ScamPulse.com to let you know about the phone number that I called and to inform you that it is a scam phone number. Thank you for your inquiry in this matter about the scam phone number.
