I received an initial email from NovaBay Pharmaceuticals for a position I applied through indeed. Then I had an interview done online. Then they stated they would send a check to pay for office supplies for the job. They had me complete two assignments to ensure I was a good candidate for the position. They mailed out the check, I received it and deposited into my bank. They asked for the bank receipt to keep in their record. And the next day, when the funds became available they asked to transfer the money to a bank account with Bank of America, this would go to the vendor for the system softwares needed to start the job. I was notified by my bank it was a fraudulent check and how these employment scams are becoming more popular.
