Said i was approved for $15000 government grant i didn't have to pay back

I received a phone call from 330-472-1383 that said I was selected to receive $9,000 in free grant money that I will not have to pay back. Then I was asked to call 917-768-3858 to claim my grant. I was then asked for my bank account info, which I did not provide, and then they wanted me to send them a money order of $200 and they would send me $9,200 in return. I was given the website obama.net, to verify that it was not a scam.

Obama.net contacted me said I have a 9k grant for paying my taxes and not filing bankruptcy…. I haven’t filed in 3 years due to personal circumstances. Which will be remedied this year by the way, Uncle Sam!
You know there’s a lot of people out there that would probably fall for this and I feel badly for them but Obama never gave me a damn thing and if he did I wouldn’t take it! Let’s go Brandon!
God Bless America!?

A person with a local telephone number called, expecting it to be a possible job offer, I answered. They said I had been awarded a government grant of 9000 for paying my taxes consistently and never filing for bankruptcy. I told him I didn’t remember applying and that I believe in Karma and juju to him if he’s a scammer. He said it’s not a scam, three times trying to reassure me and then telling me to go to Obama.net to checkout the legitimacy of the “grant”. He said he worked for the US government and I said then the website should be .gov not .net.
He gave me the phone number:202 681 0301 with a reference number of: DN 031. I obviously did call and did my own individual research but it’s definitely quite sneaky. Also, I thought impersonating a federal government official is treason or something. Please stop these bad people from victimizing anymore unsuspecting people.

I received a phone call today 04/25/2016 at 11:57 A.M. from an UNKNOWN number and a woman on the other end w/ an accent that sounded of Indian decent. I was having trouble understanding her quite a few times, however after many times of asking her to repeat herself on some of the same things, it appeared to be I was "awarded $9000" in a federal grant that I would NOT have to pay back and could choose to use this money anyway I wanted. I had 2 options of receiving the money.. One was by giving my credit or debit card number to them so they could "deposit" the money into my card OR second option was they could mail me a western union check. She proceeded to tell me my first and last name, phone number, but the address was incorrect. I knew this was a scam anyway, as she said there was a website www.Obama.net and we know that Obama isn't going to just give out $9000 to people because he feels they could use it. I told her that w/ the advice of my "lawyer" (which was really a family member) that I should not give out any information, and that I would look into the website and get back to her if I needed to. There is a link for College Grants for Single Mothers which sounds so nice... However, it is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!
