Office of Southern District Court Spoof Reports & Reviews (1)

Individual called asking for my wife who was out of town. I accepted the call for her and they said that they were calling from the office of the Federal judge in Cincinnati who had issued two misdemeanors warrants for my wife arrest and they were calling as a courtesy so that she would not have tp appear before the judge. They said that she needed to come to Cincinnati next week to clear it up. I told them that we never received any summons for jury duty. I asked them for the court case information that she supposedly missed and they could not provide the information. I heard someone in the background talking about the prosecutor filing some warrants. When they then told me that my wife needed to post a $1,000 bond by electronic transfer to continue the process and that they would be open to 8pm to take the payment I concluded it was a scam and hung up. They tried to call my wife later on in the evening on her cellphone.
