Back in April 2022 I ordered 4 dresses for upcoming events. I spent $170. The next day I received an email stating due the Covid pandemic and war. Shipping was being delayed. But promised that they would ship as soon as they received my items. Fast forward till June I asked for a refund but yet again I got the same email. Lesson learned do not buy from them. I will never see that money again.

I ordered a dress back in April and they will not refund my money. All they say is that shipments are delayed and they can't refund my money. They have also blocked me from their facebook account.

I ordered three dresses from the Olive Tree Boutique online through Facebook on May 9. I spent $92. They never arrived I have made several attempts to reach out to the company to find out where my dresses may be. I have never heard back from them. I am still out the $92 and I have no dresses. I have no way of contacting them and have not been refunded my money. Do NOT purchase anything from the company.

This company does not appear to fill orders. I have asked for an update on and shipping and was told it would be six weeks. It’s been eight weeks and I have not heard anything back despite multiple requests. I posted a comment on their Facebook page with “buyer beware, don’t order from them if you need something by a certain date.” Several other customers posted that they had not received their items despite it being even longer. Now their Facebook page is removed.

The link to view my order status is broken. It doesn’t look like they have any intention of filling orders.

I saw an ad for a dress from The Olive Tree Boutique online on Facebook. I placed an order at the end of April and it still had not been delivered by end of May. I contacted the company through email (they don't provide a phone number) and was told that they have a backlog and that products are taking 6 weeks to ship. Well, it has now been over 9 weeks and the product still has not arrived. I emailed them after 8 weeks and did not receive any response. Beware of this company!!

I ordered three dresses and never received them. They have stopped answering my emails. They initially told me that my items were not received because of the war in Ukraine but should ship in a couple weeks. I contacted them again a couple weeks later and they will not respond.

It appears I am not the only one they have done this too.

When I emailed for a status update below is the auto-populated response.

So which is it?

"This is why your order has not yet been shipped"

and further down in the same email later in the paragraph

"Unfortunately we can’t cancel your order as the items are no longer in our possession."

If it has not shipped and it is no longer in your possession? Where is it then?

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! I sincerely apologize for the delay - our company is experiencing some logistical issues at the moment. Because our items are imported from abroad, not only are we highly affected by COVID-19, but also the economic impact resulting from the war between Russia and Ukraine. This is why your order has not yet been shipped. We do hope you understand that we're doing the best we can despite the fact that both of these factors are highly out of our control. Between idle time, processing, and shipping, the amount of time it has been taking for a product to be delivered lately is about 8 weeks in total. We can assure you that we have not forgotten about your order and that it should be dispatched very soon! We know that this amount of time definitely isn't ideal, which is why we're offering free shipping and our lowest product prices ever. We're certain that you'll absolutely love what you receive when it's finally delivered - we ask that you please just continue to have a little patience with us. Let me know if you have further questions or concerns in the meantime - we're always happy to help! Unfortunately we can’t cancel your order as the items are no longer in our possession but we can help process a return request if that’s still how you’d like to proceed after the order has been delivered! Thanks again for all your patience and understanding, and for supporting a small business! We truly appreciate you. :)

I ordered 3 dresses from this website after I got an ad on Facebook. They charged my credit card right away. After my hearing back about shipping for 2 weeks, I contacted them via email. They didn't respond to my first email. I sent a second one saying I will dispute the purchase unless they tell me when the items will ship. I got a generic email from Irene Baez that they have logistics and supply issues and it will take 6 weeks. After waiting a few more weeks and no updates, I told them to issue a refund or I will dispute the transaction. No answer, so I disputed and just got the money back. Stay away and save yourself the trouble. They also block you on Facebook if you leave any warning comments on their ads. I reported to Facebook the ad was a scam.

I ordered a dress from the Olive Tree Boutique (shoptheolivetreeboutique.com) in April 2022 and it took 3.5 weeks to arrive. When I received the dress, the sizing of the dress was significantly different than the size ordered (example: I normally wear a Large; sized up to XL; sized more like a small/medium).

I emailed [email protected] per their site instructions to ask about the return policy. I was told that I could not return the item because I used a promo code. This 10% off promo code I used popped up on their site as a welcome gift, but I was completely unaware that the use of this code would invalidate my ability to return the item. I have never dealt with a company that had a unique policy like this, but it is in the fine print on their FAQ page.

This experience started feeling a bit "scammy." The next time the ad for this company appeared on my Facebook feed, I posted a kind but truthful comment on the Facebook ad mentioning that the dress runs small and not to use the promo code in case someone wants to return the item. There were multiple comments by other users asking about sizing, so I thought this comment would be very helpful in their purchasing decision. I did not warn others not to shop with the company; I just let them know about sizing and promo code use.

Within a few hours, the company removed my comment and blocked me from the Facebook page. This business practice proves that they do not want customers to know of their dress sizing and return policy. Until this action, I had taken responsibility for not understanding the sizing guide or return policy. With the company’s actions, though, I am left with the impression that they are running a savvy scam business that will not allow customers to share recommendations with others. They are purposefully trying to deceive customers.

I wrote their customer service team with a similar message (like the one above) to alert them of the issue and to ask them to unblock me from their Facebook page and allow me to share that comment again to build back my trust. That email has not been answered. As I have dug around on the internet, I can find other customers complaining of similar actions. I am not the only one. I do not recommend purchasing from this company as their business practices are sketchy and purposefully deceitful.

I know there is two boutiques called the olive tree boutique. The one I am referring to is not the one that has childrens clothing. The boutique I am referring to you see on Facebook ads, should have been my red flag there . I ordered a dress from them and when I finally received it , it is far from what I ordered. Measurements are not what they say . Then when I tried to message them . They blocked me on Facebook and emailed me saying I can’t return , refund , or get a credit. Don’t waste your money on this site !

I first saw their add on Facebook and I looked to make sure it was legit. I then ordered two dresses from this website I liked that it was a U.S. company. But now a more than a month later never received a email about the order so I thought well maybe there was a glitch. But I just opened my credit card statement and they changed me the day I ordered! How long does it take to get two dresses? I emailed them which they have not responded. I put up a warning on Facebook which was blocked by them immediately. Beware!

I have unfortunately encountered a similar experience. Here's a way we can report this ad scam to Facebook. Maybe if enough of us report them, this scam will be stopped!

1. Go to the Facebook Ad Library. https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/

2. In the Search Ads box, select the ALL ADS category and then enter "Olive Tree Boutique" as the searchable keywords. Then tap the enter key.

3. Scroll down to find the ad that you want to report and click MORE next to it. Currently, I see that they are running two ads.

4. Choose Report Ad and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Purchased 2 dresses from them on Facebook. Haven’t received one yet. The one I did receive was the opposite of what the picture showed. Also the size chart was 10 inches off in length! I emailed and asked for a refund and they said no because I used a promo code. I sent pictures to them to show how off the sizing was and how cheap the fabric was and they won’t respond. I also told the truth on the Facebook thread and they blocked me! Ridiculous. They robbed me and a ton of others.

As I browsed other shops on social media this particular one came across as the same type items I was looking for- modest clothing for women. It had dresses on sale. Absolutely looked legit, like a small boutique, and being in Utah convinced me more. I liked their items. I liked their prices. Nothing initially stood out to me so I made an order. By the following day after I made my order I read a comment that either said or insinuated the items come from China, I instantly wanted nothing to do with this, as the company was obviously hiding stuff so I checked my credit card and much to my surprise the charges had already went through, which isn't the norm as charges never go through until items are shipped. I reached out to the company by email asking how long it would take for my items to ship, and I was informed they already had, although I had received no information on that and that would prove to be quicker shipping than Amazon even LOL. I doubted the truth of that. I contacted my credit card company within an hour of that email exchange to see what I could do, they suggested I request a refund from the retailer. I immediately did. Within less then an hour of sending that email I received an email that some of my items had shipped. Very suspicious! The tracking info only takes me to a page with a bunch of updates and complaints about China's shipping. I immediately reached out to my credit card again and requested to start the dispute of charges, which was my 2nd option. I reached back out to the retailer by email and said I found it very odd that shipping confirmation came after I requested a refund. As I proceeded to go back on their FB page there was a new comment from another person complaining the item they received was not at all what they ordered and that she was being refused any sort of refund, and she shared a copy of her email from the company, which was from the same person that had been corresponding with me. I commented and told the person to turn the company in because this was completely unfair business practices to not honor fulfilling an order made and refusing a refund. By the morning, only 6 hours later, that FB page has disappeared, or I am blocked from it. Meanwhile the retailer did respond to my email saying after I receive my items I can contact them about a return and refund. However, this same person had told the other person on FB that they were entitled to no refund or exchange, even with completely wrong item, because a coupon was used and thats part of their policy. A coupon had been automatically added to my order as well, which should make me ineligible for a refund. Everything about this business is suspicious. Don't order from them! It seems there is another shop with a name close to this, while I know nothing of that retailer this one was based in Utah. And the only person I communicated with in email, and that I saw had communicated with others is

The Olive Tree Boutique.

Beware of this company. I haven't received items yet and my credit card is working with me to dispute the charges of $187. I don't want others fooled by this business.
