I signed a contract online after being led to believe that they were connected with Microsoft. Theyinstalled something on my computer, but when I tried to call the numbers they provided for billing and tech support, I get some music and then no one ever answers.

My 92 year mother clicked on an article on the right side of her facebook page and her screen was covered in red with the message to the effect of "Warning your computer may have a virus. Call this number." She couldn't get rid of the message so called the number. They convinced her to buy a $499.99 support package. It appears all they did was to clear the message from her computer. The following day she cancelled her credit card in fear this was a scam and the credit company got Online Resolve to return $250. I then got them to return the remaining $249.99.

If we had not been looking out for my mother she would have been scammed out of $500. This company uses deceptive practices to prey on those who are not computer literate.

The company online resolve is a big scam, some how I was targeted and dialed the number that was popping up on my computer screen. That is when all my problems started. For some reason I felt like I was being scammed and I let the person know that I felt like that and he spent about an hour trying to convince me they weren't . Even when I complained about the noise that was making it difficult to hear he said a lot of other people were experiencing the same problems and that they were trying their hardest to help me. I even asked to speak with some one that had an American accent and he came back on the line trying to act like some one else. When I asked how I was targeted he told me he was a live windows Microsoft technician and if I checked my computer I would see that it has been locked but that was after I allowed him remote access to my computer. So they had me hook line and sinker. Anyway I should have realized when he couldn't give me a ligitement answer to my problem, and was going back and forth on exactly who he was. I did get my money back but they are still calling trying to get info from me, but when I tell them that I have called the cops they hang up. What they do is give you a malware virus and then send you popups that redirect you to a web page with their number, witch of course is a scam. Never give your info to anyone that calls you and cant tell you how they got your number, and even then you really need to be very cautious

I was on my laptop last night trying to reinstate Norton Security. I received a pop up from Online Resolve. Phone number 888-389-7614. Pop up appeared to be from Microsoft. Massive computer virus. So I called the phone number and they Offered to repair and  offer virus security. I gave my debit card number out over the phone for $200. Spoke with rep. Laura Miller Ext. 2357. I also gave out computer passwords. I could not reach them by phone today. I contacted the bank and reported what happened.
