Went to site to check vehicle info and receive report. Paid $1. No report. Emailed support. Received rapid response from [email protected]/ requesting the last eight digits of my credit card number.

I placed an ad to sell my motorcycle on chopperexchange. I received multiple texts from 973-840-7551 stating the person was interested in buying my motorcycle - not a business. They said can you please get a VIN report - here use this company www.thevinly.com. That if I got the report let them know and they would come meet me to look at the bike. As soon as I paid for the report - they stopped answering the texts and when I tried to call the number that I was texting - it was now out of order.

they said charge me $1, then they ask for 4.95 again.

I needed trim info on my camper so I started looking for an on-line VIN# check service. I came across vinhistoryus.com where their listing said 1$ for vin report. So like a ******* I filled in the card section and sent it off for my report. Shortly after my phoned dinged and my card was charged 1$ and my report was in my email, but before I even opened my email to look at the report my phone dinged again with a 24.95$ charge. This was two days ago. The last night at 12:31 AM my phone dings again with a 4.95$ charge and just says VIN scanner. Sooo here's the moral of the story kiddies, don't be a ******** like **** ***** ***** and give out info or make on-line purchases. JUST DON'T DO IT!
