So far, I've gotten scammed at least 3 times on Tiktok and it angers me that TikTok just gives coupons in return for the inconvenience but it is still unsafe. Tiktok refunds money but before tiktok can even do anything about it they ask the seller for a refund request FIRST and I have to wait 48hours for that instead of just immediately issuing a refund now I told tiktok why ask the seller when there's provided proof of them scamming people?? They go by their "system" and I think it's absurd. These sellers are listing items and then putting in a false tracking number of an item going to a completely different address than mine to get money. It is really fishy and unreal because I'm always precautious when online shopping. These sellers get their shop closed but still go create new accounts and list items. I bought a Christmas tree thinking it was real and it wasn't. I knew it was too good to be true. I also bought 2 other items from this same person and didn't realize and gotten the same thing. A tracking number going to a different address. Tiktok helps but what they don't realize is these scammers are seeing your personal info such as your name, address and phone number that is completely unsafe. I also got a teslxt from a UK number posing as USPS. I did not open any links and this literally happened after I ordered something from this scammer on tiktok so I assume that these people are from UK.
