I ordered 2 Seresto collars - one each for a dog and cat. I had success with the Seresto collar before, previously purchased at Costco. com. My pets started showing symptoms - both allergic, scratching, sneezing. My cat was pulling out her fur and licking her paws. Meanwhile there were signs of parasites. I thought, "Hm. This has worked before yet it seems to be having the opposite effect on both pets." Needless to say, my cat has raw skin where the collar burned through. The collar is clearly a counterfeit, and after careful inspection is not the same as the previous, genuine. My dog also had several side effects.

My first sign was that I did not receive a receipt. I also received a notification from my credit card that an international charge had been posted to my account - from China. No indication on the website that it's fraudulent but further research shows that these collars are repeatedly counterfeited and legitimately seized by customs.

I'm lucky I found out when I did and hopefully my poor pets won't suffer anymore, either by the lack of protection they were supposed to get, or from the burning and chemicals they were exposed to due to the collar.

I'm sure there are other counterfeit companies. I would recommend paying a higher price from a trusted retailer. If you go to Seresto, they do provide the retailers.
