It says that I have 100$ gift card, target card ready for redeem. The number doesn't work. It doesn't ring.

From the couple of posts I have read on here, I see that my post card looks different than the rest. Different card Same scam. My Spidey senses were immediately tingling. But I needed a laugh and called. There are several red flags before you ever pick up the telephone. #1 nowhere on the postcard is there a company name. Meaning the company who actually sent the card. Yes it says that it is good at WAL-MART, target and more. Which is red flag #2! Walmart is NOT supposed to be hyphenated. But again, I needed a laugh. So I called the number and someone answered with red flag #3! I had to call 3 times because I kept getting disconected. All 3 times they answered the phone differently. 1 was Thank You for calling ? my name is "whatever" I don't know about any of you but I can NOT remember a time when I called a legitimate business that did not somehow incorporate the company name in the initial greeting. 1 out of the 3 people I spoke to answered the phone and just said "Hello?"
All 3 people had a Indian/Pakistan type of accent. Their names were all reflections of my same suspicion. And like everyone else they asked me to pay $1.95 for the shipping and activation. So I told him that just like EVERY other credit and or debit card I have ever owned gets activated when I RECEIVE it. I am not paying you jack [censored] for a card I do not have in my possession or can even see for that matter. Do I sound like I just fell off of a turnip truck?
***PLEASE I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY...but why is it that all of these types of scams seem to come from the same "area." I have watched videos done by people who seem to have exceptional talent with computers, hacking etc. It was very funny. Somehow he was able to tap into the scammers computer camera. So while they were speaking to him on the phone he was watching them. He was also able to make his voice go over the computers speaker. So when they tried to hang up on him they couldn't. When they realized that he could see them they were ducking under the desk and trying to cover the camera lens. Pretty comical stuff. And they too clearly lived in a warm and sandy location (other than the Bahamas etc.)
I have to say that this whole thing really saddens me. The whole world has been 1 big hot mess for a long time now. We have ALL suffered terribly. Whether it was emotionally, physically or financially. Mostly financially! It is sad that has driven many people to come up with scams like these. As if there wasn't enough scams and deceit in this world already. They have to go and kick people when they are down. Dirtbags. It REALLY comes down to the old adage...If it seems too good to be true...it usually IS! Keep your $ safe people's and have a Happy Holiday season!

I received the same Postgram as you all did, different no.I called, there was a tone no answer. On July 15, 2021 I also received an Email very similar It was to win a Pro-Tablet , of course I won. I think it was spinning a wheel or choosing a box of I needed to pay $1.00 or $1.99 for shipping. I put my info in and paid It $39.99 was taken from my bank..I called the number on email spoke w/a foreign woman she said that I had subscribed to a Sweepstakes and it would be taken from my card every month I explained what I had won at WalMart and was only going to pay shipping for the prize from Wal-Mart. She said there was no refunding no supervisor to talk to . Mgr. had left for home.Continued to tell that I was giving card # to Wal Mart not to or for any Sweepstakes or a Sweepstakes site that I had not seen anything on screen in regards to any subscriptions or sweepstakes .that's the truth. nothing. She continued to say that there's absolutely no way she could cancel ECT.That I was subscribed legally and I don't have any options..I was furious I cried ,said I was a widow little income.True.Yet nothing, I was stuck in an agreement that I had know knowledge of or how they had switched sites or When it was time to add my payment info. I was blind. To have not noticed that I was redirected to another site. I Still don't know what happened. Bank is investigating, but I've heard nothing .over a month.. canceled the card, I only pray they can't get to my new one Learned my lesson no tablet either. Ah.C. take me away.

yes unfortunately it does say after u put your card ingonin that yout card will be charged 39.99 a month for your "subscription "..I broke out the magnifying glass and was looking for the small print when they sent me the same..ive won 4 or 5 new apple iPads this week alone..all i have to pay is $1 or $2..smdh..i tell them if u can afford to give me an iPad..you damn sure can afford the $2 shipping..they usually hang up about those times..lol..best if luck..Hope the bank does the rt thing 4 you.

Get them all the time inFl. It's so tempting when you reall need it. DON'T CALL!

I received this post card as well. At first it seemed legit until they asked me to pay 1.95. Why would I have to pay for shipping of a rewards card when you shipped this postcard free of charge? Now reading all the comments it's the same strategy except they are also using a free trail of identity theft services which that company is bogus too. The number is 18009304833. The lady I spoke with mood changed dramatically when I asked for information about the company and hung up on me. Please don't fall for this.
