In March 2022, I was introduced to this company by a reputable family member stating that they could get our business funded. The consultation fee was $250. I spoke to Dr. Joaquina Spikes who stated that she would get us funded but we had to pay a upfront cost of $11,500. When I explained to her that we could pay half upfront but the other half in a couple weeks. She said that was okay and that she would loan us the other half so they could get started on our file. We sent her $5,750 through Cashapp on the day we spoke. By the 4th day she contacted my husband and I and stated that we needed to have a "Business Plan" as well and that was $1,500. We had to do a budget for $1,000,000. So, we paid $750 on her online portal that has now been completely revamped and is no longer a place where you can pay and the other half was through Cashapp. Before the 1st week had passed, she sent texts me saying her fiancée found out she loaned us $5,750 and that she was in trouble. She stated that they were buying land and that she was sitting in front of someone that was prejudice and didn't want them to buy the commercial property in the first place. I explained to her that I requested a couple weeks for a reason and this was truly not what was expected from her. She texted or called every other day if not twice a day to check on the status of getting the $5,750 we owed. Once we paid her the rest of the money in March 2022, she stated that our file was moving up to the next department which was processing, In 30-45 days we would receive a call stating how much we would be funded. A month or so passed by and she stated that our "Business Plan" was being finalized and that it would ready by Tuesday April 19, 2022. That's day came and left, still no "Business Plan", On June 1, 2022 I contacted her again about our funding date and the Business Plan. She stated that our funding date was July 13, 2022. We were extremely excited. That day came and left, she still had not contacted us to educate us that things had changed. On July 24,2022 she sends me a message stating that we had to take a class starting on August 15, 2022. I said we weren't educated about a class in none of our conversations or emails in March, April, May or June. I asked her why we had to take a class and it was told to us that we had to make sure that we knew how to manage the funds once received. To make a long story short, she took our money and has not produced a Business Plan or Funding. Here we are in 2023 with no money still and when I asked for a full refund, she states that we have received what we paid for. When we went on the original website the name of the services we paid for was "Business Development AND Funding' and a "Business Plan". My business along with 12-13 other business took this class and passed, were told we would be funded upon completion of the course and recommendation from the instructor. I was given another funding date but of course, nothing happens and she has all of a sudden has fallen ill. We have been told on 3 different occasions by her that we would be funded on 3 different dates that have come and gone. As big as she stated her company is, there were people put into place to handle business for her when she is unavailable. Here it is again, NO BUSINESS has been funded by her at all and she is still calling people and selling them dreams. I pray no one falls for this. This person should not be able to continue hurting others especially with her past incidents of "Bank Fraud". Her track record is exactly what it is, THE TRUTH. I wish I would have done my research on her prior to having paid for something we haven't received, $13,250 is a lot of money to be out of and have nothing to show for it. When trying to contact her she always states that she has to take care of her health or she no longer deals with clients after she collects your money. That's sad and shady. Multiple people that have dealt with her have all said the same thing, she took their money and did not do what she stated she would. All this needs to stop, she needs to pay for defrauding people and lying about being able to get funds from the government to assist with funding businesses.
