This scammer must be stopped!!!!

This person obtained my husbands social security number, our address, my cell phone number and opened a credit card online and attempted five purchases of Women’s and men’s fragrances valued at $280 . Luckily credit card didn’t allow 4 orders to go through but they got away with one. Had it shipped to this Miami address and we live in Alabama
I have been seeing tons of reports about this same person/address and police reports being made. Why hasn’t something been done by now? This is a nightmare !

Mass text message on Lottery Winners behalf

I was watching YouTube videos this morning. Totally random just enjoying my morning coffee and I recieved a mass text message with 20 other numbers in it. I did not respond to the number given advising me to respond and say I want to claim my money. Instead I went to Google and looked up the people that had won that particular lottery and seen what they had been doing. Further on down the choices to read on Google I seen how scammers were using social media in these lottery winners name for promise of funds in return for followers. I changed my search for the connelly's lottery winners text scams and came across this site so I figured it would be best to report this text incase others also reciceve a similar text. I had been trying and failing lately to get a loan for personal reasons and as such I've gotten all kinds of scammers contacting me by phone or email as when you attempt to apply for loans online you also agree to 3rd party indivuals and companies to gain your personal information. I had stopped applying for a loan for some time now as I kept getting shot down since my credit is literally considered unknown since I've never had any credit cards or other avenues of credit building in my name done or even poorly choiced decisions made to give me a negative score. So I can only assume this is how the people listed at the number given had gotten my phone number. While a hope that this would be a legitimate text to actually help me would be welcomed I just simply can't bring myself to fall for it and my hope is to help anyone else that may recieve a text like this as well.

One of our customers had emailed asking for our banking info so they could e-transfer payment for an invoice. Some time later we emailed asking when we would be paid. They replied informing us they had paid the invoice to the bank, transit # and acct. # in the email. That's when we discovered our email had been intercepted ( either ours or theirs ) and the banking info had been changed. It was for $11,529.00. Needless to say, we are out of that money and being a small business, it has affected us immensely. **** ******* ******* ** *********** *** ************** *** ** * ******* ** **** ***** **** ** ***** ****** ***** *** **** ** **** ** ** ********* **** ******* *** ** ***** ****. We had hired a computer technician to check our computer/emails and he did not see any signs of ours being hacked, however we changed our passwords, usernames etc. We are very weary of any e transfers and have added a line on our invoice asking customers to contact us directly by phone before payment is made by e transfer. Of of course the hackers are long gone, bank acct has been closed and no way to find them.

Refund scam

My dad is having open heart surgery Sept 3rd. The insurance I bought with the tickets said I wasn't covered and should call ticketmaster. I got a number to call and it was someone to actually talk to. They were agreeable that I had reason for a refund. They said things had changed how they do it and I would need to go to certain stores that sold ticketmaster or ebay gift cards. Once I got there I was supposed to buy one for $200. I was told to call them and then they would instruct me on how to put it in my ticketmaster wallet then immediately be refunded for my tickets, gift card money, and activation fee. I almost did it. They give you a reference number and everything. Ticketmaster do something about this!
