Rogers Communications Spoofer / Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

I was contacted by "Jim Reid" informing me that they saw my resume on ********* ( I do have a resume on *********) and that my resume stood out for a consideration for "Customer Service Manager" position at Rogers. They asked me to complete a self-interview. I did this the following day. the self intern consisted of a series of questions to which I had to provide answers, very much in an interview format. i had also provided my name, phone number, and address as this was part of the demographic data collection part of the interview.

Once the interview was completed, I was asked to monitor my email for 24 hours to hear back about the outcome of the interview. I received an email today informing me that I had received an offer of employment. This was when I caught on that I had been a victim of a employment scam- the written English of the email was poor and filled with grammatical errors, NO ONE OFFERS EMPLOYMENT AFTER A SELF INTERVIEW, the letter was very impersonal and seemed like it was copy/pasted. there was an attachment, which I did not open. I immediately changed my google password.
