SelectUSA Reports & Reviews (2)

A "recruitment team" representing SelectUSA contacted me to set up a Zoom interview with the "Hiring Manager" of SelectUSA. This interview oddly occured over text messaging on Zoom (no audio or video). After a bogus company presentation, and some generic employee questions, I was immediately hired. No background check, no employee application to fill out. Then I was asked to purchase a Time Tracking software program for $150. I refused. They said they would email me a pdf check to deposit into my bank account to use to buy a computer, printer, and software. I learned that these checks are bogus and only my real money in my account would be used to "buy" these items, which nothing would actually be bought - the money would just go into this scammers bank account. Thank God I caught this scam in time.

I was looking for a job online. They promised $25 per hour for training then $35 an hour after that. They set up an interview and then proceeded to tell me I would earn $27 an hour for 14 day trial period then have a chance of a raise after that with benefits and a full time position. They said they were going to offer a check for a computer, software, and a printer and that it was going to be sent via fedex or usps. Then when I woke up for “work” they told me it would be a pdf check. This “job” offer was found on indeed and it’s for a customer service/data entry clerk assistant. Do not apply. Do not cash the check. Luckily I came to my senses before anything bad happened.
