Skin Remembered Reports & Reviews (45)

I ordered Off of Facebook as they claimed Ulta was going out of business. I bought 4 samples to the tune of about $6.00 each. I received the samples in the mail and low and behold I was charged next month 4 charges around $95. They never stated that there was a 14 day cancellation period. I asked them “so I paid over a hundred dollars for each sample then?” And they said yes. They refused to give me my money back. So upsetting to be a part of a bait a switch. I am out $400 now.

I, too, fell for this scam. For the price of shipping of $4.95, I would received a skin product because of Sephora closing in the JC Penney Co. I am receiving the product monthly now to the tune of $94.99 a month!

Product is represented with a free purchase with the cost of shipping only (4.99). There is no mention of trial period and returning the product within 14 days or you will be charged over $90.00 for each product. Not a one time purchase but each month. They misrepresent and take advantage of people. Someone needs to stop these people.

I ordered this cream. It’s a total scam. Their 14 day trial starts on the day they ship it. And with today’s postal inefficiency I got it after the trial date. The charged me $94 for this crap and won’t refund me. Please read any fine print so you don’t get sucked in to a subscription.

I fell for the Neiman Marcus store closing. I got the product and then the two charges on my bankcard from LOOKHEALTHY8 for 97.88 and from Beauty855562 for 94.99. I had the bank dispute and cancelled my card. The bank could not dispute since they were provided with false tracking numbers for product they supposedly sent. (I have not seen a thing). I found Beauty855562600 on an internet search and it pulls up Pea Rosie Beauty Eyelash. It is also a phone number 1-855-562-2600 and you will take to operator 456 who says she is the senior supervisor. She said when I ordered the two samples for shipping only, I agreed to a 14 day free trial. I told her there was nothing anywhere stating a subscription service. She offered me a discount and I told her to cancel and I did not want anything from them again. She said she cancelled my account, I hope so. She did ask where I saw this if it was on Facebook. I am still looking for Lookhealthy8. I see a rash of these show up on Facebook and then disappear. This is a SCAM!

Skin Care Scam. When one tries to call the number listed as Customer Service Team, you can NOT get through to cancel after receiving the original two piece product box of Anti-Aging Skin care moisturiser and serum.

844-434-9462 is another number to try. I managed to get through after reading someone else's success in getting through that number. The Customer Rep was reasonable, but did try several attempts at me to try it for a longer trial period, reduced rate for additional orders and to mail back the trial offer. I had to repeatedly state that I wished to cancel and sever any idea of future shipments no matter the "deal."

I fell for the ad that said JC Pennys came thru bankruptcy. I was charged 11.95 and I received the two skin remembered products. Two week later my bank notified me of a 94.99 charge and asked if I authorized it. I replied no. They immediately cancelled my card and sent me a new one. I hope banks and credit card company’s are aware by now that these Facebook ads are scams! Fake!

I have repeatedly tried to call this company on the number given with their packing slip. They continue to send me product...I do not want. and do not want to pay for. HELP! big time scam...I dont want anymore of this product dont want what I have but cannot reach them! UPDATE: REACHED THE COMPANY --- AFTER TALKING TO 3 AGENTS...FINALLY GOT ONE WHO WAS NOT RUDE AND WOULD LISTEN TO ME. HE SAID REFUND ($94.99 AND 97.99) WOULD BE ISSUED IN 3 TO 10 BUS. DAYS. YET TO BE SEEN...HOPEFULLY HE WAS ON THE UP AND UP!

I received one jar of some thing I have not even opened yet they disguise it as a Ulta store going out of business and want to people to try out some skin care for a dollar that’s all I read I pay the dollar out of my cash app card and now a week later I’ve got a charge for $94.99. I expect a refund I will be sending this product back I’ve never even opened it! If they don’t refund me I swear I will threaten to sue or whatever I have to do to get my money back this is ridiculous it’s definitely a scam! I’m on disability I can’t afford $94.99 for god sake!

Same happened to me. Why does Facebook allow these scams. Live and learn don’t ever buy anything advertised on Facebook.

WOW...THAT IS CRAZY! My advice to you is keep calling til you get a cooperative agent. I had to call 3 times. All they wanted to do is offer me discounts and free product. I finally (on my 3rd call) calmly told the young man I needed a cancellation number; I did not want discounts or free product; I wanted to be shed of that company and I also needed a refund for the 2 charges of $94.99 and $97.00. He did give one more try of offering me free product, etc., but I calmly told him...if you are not going to help me please just tell me and don't waste anymore of my time...I will just dispute it with my credit card company and get a refund through them...at which time...he agreed to issue cancellation and refund. It was certainly a difficult process.

I ordered through a Facebook ad indicating that Nordstrom's was liquidating their facecare inventory before their bankruptcy. I paid $11.92 shipping and handling to receive a sample. I called their service line at 844-564-7891 and asked questions because I felt suspicious since the gentleman I spoke to had an accent and I don't trust out of country companies. They gave me instructions on the product (Skin Remembered) and never mentioned anything about this being a commitment. Two weeks ago, I received an unrecognized.charge for $94.99 on my checking account by a company called 2fit4beauty and filed a dispute. Today I received a package from Skin Remembered and called. I asked if they were afilliated with 2fit4beauty and the rep said no that she did not recognize the company. She then told me I signed up for a membership at $94.99/monthly. I never did but that was.the amount for the 2fit4beauty.com transaction.

The rep said I signed.up for this and failed to cancel. I told her that I was never informed disputed had disputed the charge. She was rude and said that I had to pay the $94.99.

On 11/7/20 I was charged $94. 99 to my bank account for their products being sold on fb with no obligation to purchase anything other than 4.95 shipping and handling for the 2 small products being advertised. 11/8/20 another amount from them was deducted for $97.88. The trial size I got has got my face so broken out after less than a week I quit using it and now I find those charges plus the many others who filed scam complaints. I'm going to have to request a bank statement for the previous month as I believe I saw a similar unknown charge then as well. Total scam and product is junk.

I fell for the JCPENNEY scam as well this morning. 12/18/20 and after I send the 4.95 billed snd under a different name, I knew right away I was scammed. I called 844-434-9462 for someone on the line. Boy they try real hard to have you not cancel and give discounts. Don’t fall for it! I fully canceled and they are only charging me the 4.95 because it shipped. I received a confirmation number that I canceled as well. Sorry to everyone that went through this and were charged monthly. FB should stop worrying about putting people in FB jail for silly posts and focus on the scammers. Smh!

The number to call is 844-564-7891

No where in the email did it show next charge in 14 days and that it would be 97.00 and 94.00. approx. I was charged them both. I have left several messages and finally got someone to answer today 844-564-7891. This is a very sad idea of a scam. BEWARE PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

I also fell for the Facebook JC Penney scam. No where does it say this is a trial and that you are signing up for a subscription. I sent them an email and haven't heard from them. I will contact my bank and file a report with my state's attorney general.

Betty I just got off the phone with them and canceled call this number
844-434-9462 ??

Fell for the JC Penney scam. Accepted cream, but not serum. Billed for both on credit card. Saw horrible scam reviews next day. Called VISA, who blocked and cancelled card from further charges. 12/16/20 called 844-434-9462, spoke with "Daria, #323" who says she cancelled my alleged membership. Told her I will refuse products, return to Post Office. She said she also authorized refunding the $4.95 and $7.95, which should happen in 10 business days excluding holidays. We shall see...

This is a scam! They provide a link through FB with an ad that you get as if two free products for just the price of shipping and handling, and later they charge for the full product, which was never mentioned before. This is scam, and the products are junk.

Called the number on the shipping invoice(844) 564-7891 that came with creams to find out the return address to ship back to the company to get a refund and they would not give you one. Stacy on the other end said no need to return, but would cancel my order. They charge you $4.95 they call it a sample. Which was on Oct. 14, 2020 and the charge you Oct. 29, 2020 $97.88 for one of the bottles then charge you $94.99 on the other bottle. Then they charged Nov.26,2020 another $97.88 and $ 94.99. Just got the prodect in the mail Dec 10, 2020. So they are making sure they get your money first. I'm up set I should have known better. Do not ordering any thing they advertise on Facebook. They are scams. Why are they allowing such advertised product on Facebook?

There was an aid from Skin Enhancement advertising moisturizer for helping wrinkles and aging process. Just pay for S&H of 4.95.
Now having read reviews, after a 14 day trial, I suspect my checking acct will be debited which was never mentioned in the add. I have notified my bank and the Better Business Bureau of this fraudulent company/ad.

While browsing Facebook I came across an ad about the closing of many JC Penney stores, and other stores that were closing were giving away, FREE, skincare products in hopes of building online business. The ad stated once trying the skincare products they felt sure customers would be so pleased that they would begin ordering these products online from "JC Penney". With the pandemic the company was exploring new means of keeping the business alive. Nowhere in the ad did it state in accepting the "FREE" product you would be agreeing to a monthly subscription for that product, or that your CC would be billed 100's of dollars each month for said products. There was also a video on the ad explaining how the closing of so many stores was forcing them to branch out into other ways of doing business, how they knew that closing all these stores was so heartbreaking to all the loyal customers of the Penneys stores who have such fond memories of the store from their childhood (yes, they threw in the nostalgia trap), etc. I screenshot EVERYTHING to do with that ad, because I'd been tricked before by the Garcinia Cambogia scam and wanted to be absolutely certain this was not the same type of scam, and found NOTHING that stated it was anything but a "good faith" giveaway. Well guess what? IT IS THE SAME SCAM. I received the product, no return info anywhere in or on it, and the simple shipping slip inside has no company name or address, and the customer service phone number is NOT A WORKING NUMBER. Looked the product up online and every time I click on it to try to find info to contact the company, what comes up is an ad for a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCT. I called the number on one of those ads and was told my account wasn't found and I called the wrong company. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!! It's the same company but advertising many different skincare products!
