Receive a call stating my social security number was used in State of Texas. Car found with drugs in it linked to my social security number.

I was on lunch break at work. I recieved a call, and voicemail from this number. They were claiming to be a SS agency. Who said that someone from Texas was using my SS# to take money, and buy illegal drugs. They said that they found an abandoned car with the illegal drugs, and my SS# inside. The supposed officer said that I needed to have a new SS# issued to me right away so that the person who was supposedly using it couldn't be connected to me. They asked me what the last four digits of my social security number was. Then said that I was found guilty of any illegal drug trafficking or use before, but in order to prove that this crime was not me to tell them how much was in my bank accounts. I was instructed to leave work right away to empty my bank accounts of all their money except what was required to leave it open. So the person using my social security couldn't get anymore money. I asked them how I was to be receiving my new SS#, and they just kept saying to not worry about it to get the money out first. They will issue it to me as soon as possible. I told the "officer" that I didn't get off work till 3:30, and the banks close at 4. He gave me a case number, and said that if I didn't follow what they wanted me to do that the cops were going to come to my place, and take me to court. He insisted that I leave immediately and get it this taken care of. So I left work, and went to the bank to pull out the money. The supposed officer on my case wanted me to go to Lowe's and get enough target gift cards to equal the amount of money I was able to get. On my way to Lowe's I asked " how do I know that this is not a scam"? He said that "this was a scam then they would get the money out of my account directly. So this is not a scam." I was instructed to not talk to the officer while in the store, because that would encourage the cashiers to ask questions, and I was not allowed to let on what was going on. The officer said that he was already the higher authorities so there was no need to let anyone on as to what was going on, and I couldn't say anything to anyone for 24 hours or my bank accounts would be shut down. So I was told to act like I was getting gift cards for a family home remodeling, and let him know once I got back to my vehicle. Once I got to my vehicle I was told to scratch off the silver part on the back of the gift cards, and read the numbers off to him. He said that this way the money would be in "safe keepings", and I would be able to get the money back after court and getting my case cleared from me. I caught on as to that this was actually a scam, and hung up the phone. The amount on the gift cards is gone. So I'm out of that money. I learned my lesson the hard way.

I received a call, with an automated message, stating there was fraudulent activity using my social security number. If I did not call back, at their office number, area code 254, they would issue an arrest warrant for me. I did not call them back.
