"I am qualified to receive a Direct TV discount..." To reduce my AT&T/Direct TV bill, I need to pay 3 months in advance using an Amazon Gift Card. Was given a "promotion code" and a phone number to call after I have purchased a $630 gift card and provide the gift card number. Sounded too good to be true!! And of course I will ignore the conversation and wasted time.

I received an email from "Paypal" supposedly. Near the bottom of the "confirmation" was this FAKE warning:

This is the # of the person that called me [at] night attempting to sell me service with Cricket but was not with Cricket wireless. The person would not give their name but called at 9:39 pm

It looked like DirectTV was calling me. When I answered, the caller claimed to be able to lower my directtv bill from what it was to 62.50 a month for 2 years if I paid 250.00 in advance via an amazon gift card. I was transferred to the promotion department where I was given a code and again asked to send a gift card. I've been with directtv long enough to know that they wouldn't call and lower my bill over 100.00 a month nor would they ask you to pay with a gift card!

I have now received THREE letters in the mail stating that I owe $222 to CHI Memorial Group. The first two letters contained a provider's name and list of lab (blood) work. This is from Georgia. I live in Pennsylvania. When you call the phone number, you always get a recording. There is a CHI Memorial MEDICAL Group ("medical" is not on this fake invoice). There is a blank return envelope, no paid postage. No website, just a PO Box and phone number. The latest invoice says in the message section at the bottom... "Your account is seriously past due. Please remit payment as soon as possible." Seriously past due. Scammers are pathetic.

Caller with an Indian accent telephoned from 877-226-8217 wanting to return $150 allegedly spent on fraudulent computer services in March of 2015. Sounded like he was in a bull pen with lots of other callers. Sent me to http://www.150.co.il/, so that he could return the money. (Yes, Indian or Farsi script.) He wanted me to click on ShowMyPC, a remote support program often used by Application support people to control a customer's computer and fix the problem. When I told him that I had never paid a "Yogi" by credit card, he claimed that "Yogi" was affiliated with many companies that would have used their name, rather than that of "Yogi." I told him that I wasn't going to turn over control of my computer screen for someone calling out of a clear blue sky and hung up.

Then he called again! HE CLAIMED TO BE CALLING FOR THE SANDY SPRINGS BBB! I asked him to send me an email. He refused. I hung up again.

Then he called a 3rd time! I told him that he must know that people wouldn't turn their computer screen over to a stranger unless they were stark, raving mad, that he would contact me by email or nothing. Again claiming to be from the BBB, he said that it was "against policy. I said "By email or nothing." He wouldn't use email so I blocked the call and hung up.

Afterward, I checked "All Accounts" for March 2015 on my desktop Quicken app and found no $150 payment, much less a fraudulent one.

They're using your ScamPulse.com brand to scam! The non-Roman script on their website struck me as a bridge too far for the Sandy Springs BBB, even if Sandy Springs has lots of Sister Cities ...

Called claiming to be Georgia Power and that the bill was passed due and the power would be shut off in 45 minutes.
