claims to need to refund my account on my computer in he amount of 300.00 and accessed my computer, got in my bank account wells fargo. Pu he money in my account and thensome how took i back out . They had access to my computer without my control. they put money in the account and put too much in in the account and hen I hung up on them turned computer off. The guy was begging me to give the funds back . When he had total control over my computer. Please if you can check his out.

I was contacted via phone from a company using the name Team Viewer. The representative told me that the company that was protecting my computer was moving to another company and they needed to refund my money for the 2 year contract I had purchased with them. They needed a credit card to put the money on (strange). We proceeded with the process. I accidentally put $5000.00 in the information box that looked just like the true company I was doing business with. The man got upset because that was the wrong amount. I asked him to remove it and he told me to remove it (strange), he could not remove it. He then told me that I needed to go to a nearby Walmart and get 9 pay cards for $500.00 each totaling $4550.00 to scratch off and call him back and give him the numbers to redeem the money. He had control of my computer and shut it down until I follow his instructions. I questioned him and asked why did he have to shut down my computer and he said he had removed the security program and if I use it the computer would crash. He showed me the companies account with my name misspelled on it and I questioned him about it. He tried so hard to convince me to get the cards and so he could get the 4550.00 back that had supposedly been credited to my credit card. I did nothing at that point. The next morning I contacted my credit card bank and asked if there had been any activity on my card and they said no. The man called me back again and tried again. I told him to call me back at 4:00. I never heard from him again. He used the name James Watson. This was a terrible experience but all of the signs of a hacker were present. I asked question after question that he could not explain. The phone number showed up as a California number on my phone. If any tech support individual should call, it is always appropriate to ask them for your ID#. If they can't give it to you, it is fraud. I contacted the number of the tech support I did business with and was told they do not contact customers, or ask for any money to be sent, wired etc. My original company is still legitimate, my computer back on track with new security. I am blessed and know it. It was a failed attempt.
