They reached out through Facebook. Want to do interviews through telegram app, then ask for your address and pictures of your ID. at that point I knew it was a scam. No real company will have you send pictures of that stuff via messenger app. The person on the other side became very frustrated when I told them I knew it was a scam.

If came off as a data entry work at home job on Facebook. I replied to it and then I was contacted by a "recruiter" who I spoke with by the name of Dirk Kukula after speaking with him I was contacted by the hiring manager Brandi Nicole again seeming all legit asked the right questions etc. I was not once asked for my my ID or SS # or anything of that sort (but I'm sure it was next). She asked me about 10 questions I had to answer and send back then after 30 minutes sent me another message saying I had the job. She then asked me how I would liked to be paid stating I could do a paper check or direct deposit if I carried the One Vanilla prepaid debit card I told her I didn't not have that card and she said if I still was interested then I could just go to Walmart, CVS, Lowes, etc to get one and then send sent the routing number and account number once I got it. Well needless to say I could find that exact card after looking half the day. So I told her I couldn't find it and said either I can use one of the prepaid cards I have that I have not used or send me a paper check. By the way they spoke to me from this point really raised my concern before I even told her what card I wanted to use She sent me a check via email when I told her I received this email she told me to print this Check and do a mobile upload to my account and let her know when it was complete. This is where I hung up because I know you can't print a check on regular paper and cash it anywhere in America. Then recruiter contacted me and I asked what I thought and I told them how I thought it was a scam and I'm done with him. Then Brandi messaged me and asked if I had printed the check I said no and I'm not.going to she asked why and I told her she then proceeded to tell me I had not.followed the instructions from the beginning and I let her have it. Needless to say I got the email containing the fraudulent check and the recruiter still proceeds to message me trying to convince me and possibly himself that it is 100% legit.

I needed that, thank you. I only got to the part where they asked my name and my location but I left them on read, glad to know it’s a scam and I don’t need to waist my time

I wish I had seen this prior to going through the process with the “interview”
A guy advertised on our military fb page so I assumed it was legit after reading the guys fb profile.
Upon searching the company the scam reviews did not appear until I became suspicious as we went further into the verification process after they said I was hired. I did another search on the company. I reached out to the guy on fb and he claims he went through the same process when he was hired. Unfortunately he was hired to get people into the interview process and be scammed not legit data entry work. The company claims to give you all this high end expensive items and Mac book etc to get you started. You don’t get a supervisor until all this is done. He then asked me to download coinmama so that I could verify codes for the vendor to install the software. What became suspicious was when I tried to call they would hang up. When I didn’t reply with the code they tried to call me and when I answered they hung up but then turn around and text me to give them the code. All this was via something called viber messaging. What ashame that this happening at a time when people truly are trying to get work. Even more shameful that this is done through the military community to our families. Me myself being a military family.

Don't get scammed by this person. They will ask somebody on Facebook that they're hiring and will lead you to a text interview. The name of the interviewee is BRANDI NICOLE. During the interview, the flow seems legit, then eventually I've noticed that it's good to be true. I messaged the FB person and the hiring manager back and forth, and I noticed the inconsistencies from both of them. Finally, I concluded that it was a scam when they want my credit card information to buy the office equipments and software that I'm going to use during the training. I said nope. It's a scam. I can tell it. Please beware! Be aware! I googled it and there it goes! I'm glad I didn't fall to this big scam! I searched her name on Facebook, I felt bad for her family, she's a big [censored] bug! The picture I attached is the same person!

Thank you so much for posting this I replied to a fb job posting and as soon as the hiring manager said that name I was like nope thank you very much

The same lady was the one who did my interview thru text. They didn't ask for my bank information I did only give my email and that I only use a prepaid phone. Sheas well stated I was hired. Once they asked for my SS# and copy of my drivers license I stated ok. Immediately she replied Im wait for your information which definitely didn't seem polite... I said I'm getting my child from school...
Im so glad I google this information
Now time to share with my FB page its a huge scam

Heather Gibson Stiltner had a post needing workers from home. I got information from her. Followed the promps a supervisor named Micheal McDermott sent me a interview and questions. Started saying you have the job needed credit card information Verizon account information so I dug deeper and found out on the web site it's a scam.

Thank you for information. Im not about to send them my ss# or drivers license information... After they said I got the job as well and then request that they needed information I put myself on hold... A friend listed this on her fb page as well on FB site to get people to be interested.
Its too good to be true... Are there any legit at home jobs?

I was contacted by someone on Facebook about a remote job with flexible hours doing data entry - which sounded really great. When I reached out to the company, they did a text interview with basic questions in a secure app called Signal. After an hour or so chatting with someone via text, they offered me the job. The contact was allegedly a woman named Coates Brandi Nicole, Hiring Manager I was supposed to receive an email with new hire paperwork to fill out, I never received it. She asked for contact information to mail my equipment after she confirmed I already had my own equipment to use. Then she asked for my id for hiring purposes. As a former HR consultant this all seemed legit. Until she asked for my bank information. I asked if that was for direct payroll since they gave options of venmo, paypal or banking. She said that it was for them to deposit a large amount of money in my account for a new computer, iphone and printer. The company needed my login and password so they could check that the money was spent the right way. I told her absolutely not. I had a separate prepaid account I gave her but she said that wouldn't work, it had to be an actual bank account. I told them I do not wish to proceed. The woman texting me told me to calm down and they can assure me all information is kept private. I continued to tell her I do not wish to proceed. I hadn't heard from her for a few days and today she said they were sending me a pdf check I could take a picture of and deposit into my account. I informed her AGAIN that I was not proceeding with this and she needed to stop all contact and lose all my information. I called the real company Tech Speed in Portland and they said they don't hire for remote data entry workers and hadn't hired for anything in a while. I asked if she got calls on this often and she said unfortunately it is a scam and she receives multiple calls about it each day. I changed my bank after I last spoke with this person and they are aware of anyone trying to put large deposits into my account.
