TechEminent Reports & Reviews (1)

I contacted Yahoo regarding my email account being compromised. I was transferred to this third party vendor to sign up for level 7 spyware, malware, adware tech services and agreed to a 2 year service and paid $299.99 via my credit card (pending authorization). Initially the tech asked several times for my checking info as the preferred pay method. I was advised that someone overseas had compromised or hacked my account via the IP data - for personal, financial and a possible identity takeover. The tech request to remote to my computer and scanned approximately three thousand files. Also mentioned that this service would protect all of my devices i.e. desktop, mobile phone, land line, printer, scanner and tablets. Per the contract I should contact them once a month as a follow up and not speak to anyone else about this situation. I spoke to my internet provider at AT&T and was advised to research this business because it did not sound legitimate. I can fax the contract to you (unable to scan document at this time). I googled the company to find the address is a residence and not registered with the BBB. Thank you for assisting me with this matter!
