This company switched my parents long distance service from AT&T to Telecircuit without their consent! This company has been billing my parents and not providing the long distance service. I called AT&T and the rep also stated that Telecircuit is known to target seniors. The number on the invoice is not a working number.

My 95 year mother has received at least 3 bills from this company. I have contacted CenturyLink and they have informed me that they have no ties to this company. Telecircuit keeps billing my mother for long distance phone calls. My mother no longer has CenturyLink for phone and has never dealt with TeleCircuit.

My mother is in her 80s and has complained to me that she could not make Long distance calls to me. In fact it started a whole problem between her and I because she felt that I was ignoring her or couldn't reach her on purpose it was really sad and made my heart hurt that she could think something like that when it ended up being the phone service that was the problem.

I live in Ventura she lives in Bakersfield and we have never had this problem before. Now all of the sudden she gets this bill from a company called telecircuit explaining that the long-distance is now going to be serviced by them but she never authorised any of their service. she normally dealt with AT&T. As a matter of fact on the bill she received from Telecircuit, it said that her long-distance service would be dealt with buy them and not AT&T and that it wouldn't affect their AT&T service.

When we called the number that was listed on the telecircuit bill, the number was not in service. I finally looked online and reached customer service who ended up knowing nothing about her account and could not give us an information or refer us to anybody that could help us with the situation . Then I asked the customer service guy named "Fernando"if he was in a call center answering calls for a number of different businesses and he said yes. I feel this is a scam for a number of reasons:

1. You can't call the customer service number on the bill because it's out of service

2. If you try to call the customer service number that is online, you are reaching a bogus call center because they can't help you, since it appears that there's no real service for them to help you with in the first place.

3. My mom never ever authorized any of this but yet she's been paying them and now we are demanding and going to demand every single sent back she did not call for the service nor did she requested nor was she approached professionally by anybody about the service.

We will be taking this to the next level and they will return our money please watch out for this and please tell your elderly parents to watch out for all of their bills or help them with it because they are scamming elderly people left and right now days and it is so sad and sickening.

and by the way, at&t never informed her of this change. and my poor mom and dad are still being billed and cant call long distance!!!! Telecircuit says that they're building her for long distance and she can't even call long-distance anyway it's a total scam!!!!!!!

p.s. my father served this country and as a veteran and this is the way they're getting treated is just disgust me!

Telecircuit contacts Senior Citizens and offers them half rate over ATT. Then they block their number and will not allow them to change back to ATT without paying very large charges although they tell them there is no contract. Very threatening in their phone calls and very upsetting to Seniors. My mother has early dementia and is very upset because she has lost her number they have had since 1982 as Telecircuit will not release this back to ATT. She was so confused yesterday she could not even remember the date. Furthermore, she is not the account holder and did not have the authorization to provide them with permission to make changes to the account so they did this fraudulently and illegally. We are pursuing FCC charges against them.

Unsolicited contact by company-quoted a price specifically geared toward retirees. Once bill was sent, cost was significantly higher than price quoted. Tried several times to cancel service to no avail. CS will not speak regarding cancellation. Tried to reinstate ATT and is overridden by TeleCircuit. Have had to retain legal service to correct the problem.

My grandma received a bill in the mail from telecircuit network, where she was billed $92.15 for a service she did not authorize to be switched from her at&t phone service. This "company" then hijacked her service and canceled her phone service with at&t without permission, and told her she did not need to pay the at&t bill. There has been complaints of this company before and nothing has been done to stop it

A rep from TeleCircuit call asking me if I wanted to switch phone service from AT&T and I agreed. I mention if I don't like the service and want to switch back? I was told no problem or hassles. I called to cancel my service and was told the supervisor has left for the day every time I called. I was told I could not cancel my service until I talked to the supervisor. I've been trying to switch my line back to AT&T this company has blocked me from doing so and holding up the process.
