The Moving Visuals Co. Reports & Reviews (2)

Started with a text message that I received from my phone ( from phone number 626.460.4737) asking me to send a resume to an email address ([email protected]) for some film work that he was crewing up in the area. I thought that this was rather strange because I am Union, but he did get my number from a legitimate site that my local film commission uses. I sent an email, and my resume, and got back a response:

This is very suspect because I was confused, it wasn't a UPM, and all procedures for hiring in my line of work are out the door. Not to mention the email is not of someone that hires film professionals.

However, I emailed back because there is a lot of work happening in the area, and I have not yet heard back.

I looked up the company name, and saw that someone is using their name and posing as them, and that it is a scam.

Someone using the above website as a middle contact is using our company's name (The Moving Visuals Co.) to contact people and obtain information from them. The message reads as below -
