The Residential magazine left me a message and I wish I would have not called them back, but I did. At the time, of the call I thought it was a good opportunity. I was given offers, and when I declined due to the amount, I was offered and accepted the deal with half of the lowest amount $249. Before we got off the call, I asked where can I call if I have questions? I was told the same number I had called which was a local 804#. I checked my email the document was not coming up and immediately I started getting nervous. I thought about all the details of a scam call and this fit my scenario. I worked on Labor Day, but their offices were closed and I finally got another email on Tuesday, this time it contained an 877# but not extension. I called and was told account manager Zach Henderson would call me back. I felt he had an attitude but I still explained why I wasn't pleased. I actually had to explain it twice because he felt that I should have been okay with how things went since there were simple mistakes made on The Residential Magazine's behalf like me not knowing where to call, not knowing their business hours so they were closed on Labor Day, not having a name or extension of anyone to ask for until now. Regardless, I stated I wanted to cancel the contract and that's when he really got bothered. My question that sparked Mr. Henderson was which number would I expect a return call from and because he didn't know I tried to explain why I was asking the question and that's when he snapped. "I don't know what your problem is lady you've only spent a couple of hundred dollars on an ad someone will call you back" and he hung up. When you call the message says you'll be recorded, I wonder if they recorded that call. After coming online and finding this site, I still wonder if there's any resolution.

I was phoned by Residential Magazine and they told me I could get a quarter page ad for 500.00. I told them i would love to but i couldn't afford it. All of a sudden someone else jumps on the line and does some creative financing and said i could pay 96.00 a month so i thought it was a great opportunity. So i gave them my info for the initial payment of 196.00 and they had their advertisement department send me a proof of my ad. I had made some changes. They sent back the revised ad proof which i approved. They said i would get a copy of the actual magazine with the ad. The magazine was set to be July 28, 2021. I never received the magazine and i should have had some phone calls by now. I tried to call the number that was on my phone log and its disconected.

I was contacted by The Residential magazine that they were having a special for one issue which is for one quarter at $100.00. A discounted price for first time customers. So I signed up for one quarter. Last week I saw a charge on my credit card for $200.00 for the next quarter. When I called and asked why I was told I enrolled in the reoccurring program when I didn't. I asked for a refund, they denied and said once a charged has be processed it cannot be credited back. I just wanted to warn any other business that might get scammed by them. Stay away!
