The UV Box Reports & Reviews (27)

I ordered the UV box and my husband did not want it. I tried to return it and there appears to be NO WAY to return this item. There is no phone number and I have emailed twice with no response. DO NOT ORDER FROM these people. There appears to be other comparable products out there that have reasonable policies. This arrived way later then expected and I could not return it. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Complete scam. I ordered and it is, in plain simple words, a piece of [censored]. I have emailed numerous times to get a refund and no replies or acknowledgement. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I had a similiar experience with the order delay-it took 59 days to receive what was different than I ordered. What I received was called a Coating Machine-actually 2 of them-$119. I objected and got a prompt email response that what I got is just the same as what I ordered, just a name change and I should not worry. More importantly, I will never try to use this useless device as in the usage manual, a small front /back paper, in broken Engilsh, it lists as a feature-Big Ultraviolet Lamp from two sides, 360degrees C. Yikes! Further, a warning says-Do not stare at the nano coating machine for a long time. These statements sure inspire a lot of customer confidence? I have again asked for a complete refund, which was ignored in my first email. WE ALL WERE SCAMMED FOR SURE

Clicked on Facebook advertisement. The website and information seemed legitimate. Ordered one device for $59. Received a shipping confirmation with tracking information. The company rarely responds. One response indicated that there were delays due to COVID-19. No updates. No indication on website that there are delays to warn customers placing new orders.

No offer to refund and didn't respond when requested.

Same experience as all the others. Ordered two UV boxes May 5th. Two days later I was told it was shipped and should arrive in 8-10 days. They never came and this is mid-June. I also received a tracking # apparently from "Whistl" which is apparently a UK shipper and when I tried to track it, they said they didn't recognize the number. The UV Box's 800 number directs you back to email. Email says they will respond in 24 hours. I never received a response to three emails. At this point I cancelled the order with my credit card company.

The UV Box charged my credit card on May 15, it is now June 16, and I still don’t have my order. They do not answer any phone number given or any emails.

Same story as everyone here. It looks legit, even got emails thanking me for my order, etc. I never received the product and they do not respond to my many emails (website says they respond within 2 days I believe).

I ordered May 2nd. I quickly got a shipping notice with tracking. When you track it says that it is in an invalid tracking number based out of the UK. I sent two emails but never got a response. After that I looked on social media and found their Facebook and Instagram. They get comments but they delete the comments within a day or block you so that you can’t leave any disparaging information that would cause them not to get further orders. I tried contacting Facebook and Instagram to have them removed but they are still there. just from a couple comments on these sites and a couple messages from people I have found that this is their way. They have people order give them a fake tracking number and never ship the product. This place is a scam and you should contact your credit card company for a refund.

same story - ordered 2 boxes - took $ out of account right away - took about 3-4 weeks to receive and tracking # was worthless - finally received boxes - they do not work - email address for support never responds - telephone number refers you to website and support email - I am working with my bank to file complaint and get refund - even got an email to post a review but the link just goes to website to buy them. Scam Scam Scam

I ordered a UV Box for disinfecting my phones, keys, other small items. It’s one of many products advertised in response to the pandemic. It sanitizes personal items.

Ordered May 10. Not only did it never arrive, but there is no way to actually communicate with a company rep. Phone support tells you to use the email, emails respond with programmed responses, which are suddenly in poor English. I am tracking the package, which they provided. The information is utter nonsense. Package has been circling the Southwest US, getting no closer to its destination (me), and even “ departing” the same facility several times in one day.

There is no way to contact the company and the box is never coming. This is a total scam. Say goodbye to your money if you order the UV Box.

Purchased Item, It never shipped.

They show it is a preship status.

I will file a charge back against the business.

I purchased a UV Box to sanitize my phone among other items. I ordered it May 8. I sent them many emails asking when to expect my order. They continued to tell me due to the virus USPS, which they used to ship my item, was very slow. It has now been a month. I do realize this company is a sham. I would like them arrested and sent to jail. I will be happy to testify against them. They still continue to send me emails and ask me to write a review. There is not place to add your review. I wonder why? It is now June 8. no product sent. The USPS # was never in the system. They never had a phone number. 1-800-275-8777 is the number I was given to check on my shipment. No one ever answered.

I ordered four boxes on May 1. I have gotten conflicting tracking numbers. I cannot contact the company. The number listed on their website is that theirs. It belongs to a charity. The UV Box is a scam. They have cheated me out of $253.00

I ordered the UV box May 4th and was notified that it shipped May 5th. The received payment from my bank that day. They guaranteed shipment within 7 to 10 days, however, the tracking number they gave was bogus. Since then I have received a different tracking number that shows clearance completed in California 3 weeks ago. I still have not received the box. There are 28 other people that I know of, who have had exactly the same experience. I believe this is a scam.

theuvbox promotes its product on Facebook. Facebook has ample positive comments for the product. I ordered two units from them on May 2nd and my credit card was immediately charged. I received a text confirmation for my order and on May 4th received notice my order shipped with a tracking number. As of today, June 4th, the tracking number still shows "no info available". If I follow the link provided in the order confirmation text, it shows my order is "processing" which conflicts with the claim that my order shipped. Several emails to support have gone unanswered. The 800 number for support provides a recording directing you to the website. You can not speak to anyone about your order.

The fact they charged my credit card before shipping my order and the complete lack of any customer service leads me to believe they are running a COVID-19 scam. The product is meant to disinfect your cell phone, keys, wallet, etc. with UV light.

I ordered the UV Box and have been waiting for over a month. I sent e-mail for assistance and got no answer. The tracking number is not providing any useful information. Be aware, this may be a scam company.

The add for this company and product came up while I was working a crossword puzzle on my add pad. It looked like a good product, legitimate and the price was reasonable. I purchased the item, paying with my debit card. They went as far as to provide a USPS tracking number which turned out to be bogus. When you click on it, it says, "cable created, not in the system". They promised to deliver in 6-8 working days. It has been almost a month. I have sent emails requesting help and information, no response. I have called the number they list on the website, and all you get is a recording sending you back to the website. When you click on support, and track your order, it says "in process" and it does not change. There simply is no way to track this down and I am afraid I was taken. I am working with my bank to see if I can reverse the charge. I have sent them all the documentation showing the receipt, tracking number, my multiple e-mails, etc and hope they will reverse the charge. I think this company needs to be called out as a fraud.

I personally ordered 2 uv boxes (from this "Based in the USA" company) for the daycare that I work for to give peace of mind to our employees back on May 3rd. I received an email on May 6th that my order had shipped. The Whistl tracking number that they gave did not work. It said "Unfortunately, your parcel reference number does not match a parcel reference number created on our system." I emailed 2 times, called 3 times for help since the May 6th email from The UV Box and then messaged the company from their FB page on May 27th. This afternoon I just received a notification that the company responded to my message. (still no email back) They said they "tracked the order for me", "attached images of the status" (which there was no images attached) and it is "really near to arrive" to me---"receive it in the next few days". They blamed it on the shipping company and that "it is 100% sure" that I will "receive it in the next few days". PLEASE SOMEONE STOP THIS COMPANY FROM FEEDING OFF OF CONCERNED CITIZENS DURING A PANDEMIC! Normally, I would never buy something off an advertisement, especially FB, but in my concern for our employees and their wariness of coming back to work when children are always sick, I made a rash decision. How many others have done the same thing?

Scam! Same experience as others. Was sent a text shortly after buying my product was being shipped and a tracking number was sent. The tracking number was a fake number and the product was not sent. I never received the product and their phone number directs to email. You cannot talk to a person. They also do not respond to the email. They say they will respond within 24 hours. That is a lie they never respond. SCAM

I ordered may 14th as they said they shipped from USA and they were in stock for a quick delivery , they took my money and sent me an email with a created usps label and a tracking number that does not seem to work . It has said it has been shipped but it has not arrived Their support is only by email promising to respond within 24 hrs. no response ever. When you call the 800 number no matter what option you choose its directs you to email. Sent several emails to cancel order as I needed it quickly only ordered because they said would be shipped in 2-3 days from order but they never respond. They are still advertising on Facebook I added a comment but all comments are not showing something is wrong I think this is a scam so contacted my bank as I could not get any responses from them
