I received several emails from Facebook today (8/10/23)notifying me that around 3 am, some one logged into my Facebook account, then at 3:37am they added a new email address from NY,NY, and changed my password from undisclosed location, removed my email address from Daly City, CA, (In 3 different operations), then at 5:45am I was notified that my ad ( not my ad) had been approved to run. At 4:33pm I got email letting me know I was charged $200 for my ad. Another charge for $50 was also found by me from Facebook. I at 8:15pm contacted AmEx to prevent the payment of these charges, and my card has been cancelled. I of course have totally lost access to my Facebook account. And yes, I had run another ad recently on Facebook which is likely how the hacker found me with a cc attached to my Facebook account.
