I have two small girls who wanted to see Ariana Grande. Tickets are almost $300. I went onto Craig's List. Someone was selling them for $175. They had told me they could transfer them from their Ticketmaster account to mine. After that, I can pay them through the Zelle app. I called Ticketmaster TWICE to check the validity of this. Both individuals had told me if this is done through Ticketmaster, it would be legit. I received an email prompting me to "claim the tickets," which I did. Once I claimed them, they were in my account and I was able to view them from my app under my account. The Zelle app is actually used through my online banking app; therefore, I did not question that. Long story short, 3 hours later, I received an email from Ticketmaster telling me the tickets were purchased fraudulently and they were going to be cancelled. I now have no tickets and I am out $525. I never purchase tickets from someone I do not know, but I figured through Ticketmaster, it would be safe. What is most upsetting is that I spoke to two people from Ticketmaster; both told me it was safe. What is more upsetting is that I have two girls wanting to see Ariana Grande and now I am out over a half grand. Any help would be appreciated; if you have any suggestions at all. Lastly, Ticketmaster's web page states "tickets are 100% authentic and guaranteed to get you in, including Fan-to-Fan Resale Tickets." There was no guarantee with this; obviously.
