Travel Center Reports & Reviews (1)

They invite you to a presentation to show you about their travel club and giving your opinions. They specifically state there will be no sales pitch. They have rented a storefront in Sherman Oaks next to a high end restaurant. They give a presentation and then they separate the group and try to hard sell a membership for an outrageous price. If you don't agree, they get the manager over who makes up a story that you were referred by one of their customers so they slash the price in half. Still an outrageous price for what they claim you get. They say over and over that this isn't a timeshare, but it acts just like a timeshare. When you get your "free gifts" for attending, you enter the promo on the website and each one requires a nonrefundable processing fee to even see what you can get. For example, one of the gifts is a hotel stay with airfare, but you need to pay $50 just to see where and when, and of course it states there may be other fees and taxes. Such a waste of time! There was a couple with young kids there that they sequestered in a room, I really hope they didn't waste their hard earned money on this scam. They require an ID, your address, and proof of a major credit card to enter, but they didn't record my credit card number to the best of my knowledge.
