Treasury Claims Dept Reports & Reviews (1)

- Stanchfield, MN, USA

They claimed that I won a million dollars. They were going to give it to me as soon as I purchased a gift card from Wallmart so I could use it to identify myself .They are targeting seniors. Very insistent, Called at least 8 times over a 24 hour period. They were able to hack my call blocker so they could get through .They assigned themselves the name anonymous so they could call straight through the call blocker. First they said I won the money by entering a contest, then they said I was picked from a list of names. The story kept getting more involved as the calls increased. By the second day they were coming to my home, with FBI, Police, and a red carpet plus a limo to take me to the bank.

Even when I told them I knew they were attempting a scam they still kept calling! I had to tell them to stop calling me at least 3 times!!It sounded like the first man was calling from a parking garage, The "manager" appeared to be calling from a different location with others in the background talking as well.
