Remote Data Entry position

I received an response email from Mr. Evan Williams regarding my resume I posted on one of the legit job sites. He indicated to chat on a an app called Microsoft Teams Classic once I had a chance to chat with him regarding the remote Data Entry position.

He introduced himself as one of the hiring managers of True Vision Hospitals & Physicians Clinics.

The chat was asking several different questions regarding my employment history, my experience. Explained the remote job position & responsibilities, even mentioned that they would be sending equipment to my home to setup a home office in order to be efficient in getting the tasks done.

I actually have the whole chat session saved as a PDF (which I will attach to this report). The chat went on/off from 9:26am - 3:40pm EST

I was vague in my answers to the questions, I asked some questions in return. I did NOT provide any personal info, I stated my address info was on my resume.

At the end of the chat - they sent me an employment letter (drafted by Nicole Kay); which I did NOT sign.

I just got an email 20 minutes ago and wanted to check out if it was a scam first and lo and behold I fons this.

So I am assuming no real company conducts interviews this way these days?

Scam. Taking advantage of desperate parents looking for work

Interviewed with a hiring manager named Mr. Evans Williams from a link via email. I relized it was a scam when when the list was provided about materials needed to be purchased. This list was absolutely ridiculous and then came the request for my bank and if I had a limit of deposit amout. I am already stressed and struggling. I trusted Zip-Recruiter and feel taken advantage.

They tried to scam me

I got a text message at 1:30 this afternoon from 401-305-0337 and it was for Mr. Smith Allen from the TrueVision hospitals and physicians clinics… something felt a little bit off however, I have applied to so many jobs lately that I thought maybe I had lost track of some thing so I engaged in the conversation. I have asked multiple times for the LinkedIn page for the company for the hiring manager, Nicole K and for Smith Allen’s profile but so far they haven’t provided any of that, this conversation that I’m having is through Microsoft teams on the email address that she is using this time is Nicole [email protected]. I haven’t been asked for any payments for anything yet. I even got the address of the company that they’re apparently hiring for that is reportedly opening a branch in Canada and the company is TrueVision 1617 South Highway 69 in Nederland, TX 77627. I found their website I called them and they said that they are not branching out to Canada and they’ve received a lot of calls very similar to mine. So I asked them a few questions like have you placed any previous candidates with your client? What can you tell me about the companies culture? What opportunities are there for growth within this role and how long has the company been operating and they replied to all of them, and just said yes, and I told them I can’t find Smith Allen on LinkedIn or yourself, for that matter which would be very strange, considering the value that Linden adds to recruiting companies and businesses overall, and then Nicole replied back and said she’s on LinkedIn. I said I would love to be able to view your profile and confirm the connections with true vision for some reason I’m not even able to find anything when I do a search and then she put ple[censored]d that was at 3:51. The time is Currently 4:27 and they still haven’t returned

I randomly received an email at 3:20am stating:

This position is paying $25.5 per hour during normal working hours and $15.5 per hour during training hours plus incentives.
