Money lost: $508.18

I got scammed by a company under the name of tryontariofarms.com through an ad on the web for hemp oil and hemp skin cream. They make you believe they are Ontarians but in fact they are Americans. It seemed they were having a promotion for Canadians where they send it to you and you only pay the shipping of $9.05 CAD each (which showed up on my credit card as Polseaxiomeffecteyes 833-243-3069 NY and Kingbaseskincream 833-568-4374 CA). So I was like, why not trying it. Before I realized this was a scam, they were charging my credit card on a monthly basis with the recurring amounts of 128.20 (cohensk*skincarerm 833-439-8747 CA this time and 125.46 CAD under the name of BACEVICIUSHEALTHESTO 833-684-7193 IL) or so. They wouldn't give me any money back, even when I offered to send back the unopened product, but they refused even if I received the 2 parcels only a few days before. I told the woman on the phone that it was a scam and she kept telling me she felt sorry for me feeling that. This was a real dialogue of the deaf. I must say people working for them are really well trained.

I got scammed through a pop-up ad for hemp oil. I had tried other cannabis products before (not from this company), but never tried hemp oil, and it looked like they were having a promotion where they send it to you and you only pay the shipping of $9.02 CAD (which showed up on my credit card as SEVLABASESKIN 833-5684378). So I was like, why not. Before I checked out, they kept on hammering me with more expensive products, and I got overwhelmed, and exited out of it all, thinking, "I don't need hemp oil that bad! If I'm curious about it, I'll seek it out myself!" They sent me the hemp oil anyways, and 16 days later, I got charged $127.98 CAD on my credit card (under a different company name, RAMSTHALERRM*MOISTURE 8335684377). I didn't make the connection, and I filed a complaint. The credit card company told me that they charged me a small amount earlier, and in the fine print, there must have been a clause that said that if I didn't cancel the trial within a certain amount of time, I'd be charged the $127.98. There was nothing they could do about this because it was within the legal terms and conditions of the company that I "signed up for" when I exited the ad, thinking I hadn't approve the free product. They told me to call the company. They confirmed that there was a separate "Terms and Conditions" link that I should've read, which included a bunch of information like the "trial" I was signing up for, which would charge me $127.98 automatically unless I cancelled. They wouldn't give me any money back, even when I offered to send back the (unopened) product, but told me that they could send me free products and extend my trial. I said that I would never want anything to do with this company because of their dirty tactics. I never got refunded for the $127.98. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!

The exact same situation happened to me. I saw Ben Mulroney on facebook promoting Ontario Farms and ordered the promotional hemp oil. Instantly another offer popped up (also Ontario Farms) promoting Hemp Face Cream. I purchased that one as well. Instantly I received order confirmations from Customer Service Email: [email protected] Phone: 833.247.4311. I received the products and really thought it was legitimate... until last night. I received a FRAUD ALERT from my bank that a transaction from @FULLBASE $131.24USD was declined. I called into my Bank and they immediately cancelled my debit/credit card. When I looked back through my history the 2 transactions (for Ontario Farm products) were 2 different business'. I am locked out of my account at the moment and can't get the exact names...but they were not Ontario Farms. Of course the phone number is not in service. This was a really REALISTIC advertisement and it was edited/altered to have you believe that Ben Mulroney was endorsing this "Life Altering" product. At this stage in the game I bought it hook line and sinker. It was so real! According to the Bank Fraud team they are seeing more and more of these elaborate scams and they are evolving to a degree that is scarily realistic. Once they have your credit card information the only way to stop them is to cancel your card. Even if it was a one time purchase, once they have your cc info they will continue to charge your card. So now the question is...whats in the skin cream and hemp bottle? The labels state:
Distributed By: Ontario Farms
PO BOX 1236 North York Ontario M3J 0R7/833.247.4311
MADE IN THE USA.

Advertisement on facebook with endorsement by Ben Mulroney for hemp oil free trial, just pay shipping. I gave cc number and received product. 2 weeks later my credit card was billed for $130.66. I called the company and they said I didn’t cancel the ongoing order. I never agreed to an ongoing order, total fraud on their part. BEWARE of this scam
