An email was sent to me from UNIPART GROUP <[email protected]> stating they had seen my resume on Indeed & were offering me a job as a virtual assistant. They stated the pay was $40.00 an hour, with training being paid at $25.00 an hour. The person who sent the email stated she was "Ms. Elizabeth Velasquez" & to get on Microsoft Teams so that I could do an interview with a "Mr. Patrick Cummins". I looked up the company which is in England & forwarded the email sent to me & asked them to verify if the offer was from them. They immediately answered & said not to open any of the attachments sent to me, (offer letter, W2 form, direct deposit form) because it was a scam. These people also asked me to send them a copy of my driver's license, front & back. What tipped me off is that I don't have my resume as public on Indeed & the offer seemed too good to be true.</[email protected]>
