United HlthCare Reports & Reviews (1)

- Denver, CO, USA

I received a call from (651) 273-0795. It was a woman saying she was calling related to my employer's (which she knew) healthcare plan and that they were offering a personal nurse to assist in managing my healthcare needs. I've had past employers who offered similar programs in an effort to improve employee health thereby reducing healthcare claims/costs. I quizzed her on whether this was a free program or whether it was something that I would end up having to pay for the service. I figured it wouldn't hurt to hear the pitch. She asked me a number of times whether I would be willing to spend 5 minutes answering some questions about my health. I told her I would reserve the right to not answer questions I was uncomfortable answering, but sure, I would talk to someone. As soon as I said "yeah"...not "yes," but "yeah"...she hung up. I'm reporting this because of the "say yes" scam that made the rounds a while back. I'll be contacting my employer and watching my telephone bills, health bills, bank and credit card statements closely now. NOTE: This just occurred today, so as of right now I have no evidence that there was any financial or privacy lost. I'm simply reporting the incident immediately per recommendations I found online regarding this type of scam.
