United States federal grants Department Reports & Reviews (1)

- Sandy, OR, USA

Mary identified herself as being with the United States Federal Grants Department. She said I had been chosen by the federal government (1 of 1500 People chosen yearly) to receive a free grant of $9,000 that I can use for home improvements, education, Etc., because I pay my bills on time.

She said I could claim the money by using one of three ways.

Option 1- a MoneyGram through Western Union or Walmart

Option 2- I could have the money put onto one of my Visa or Mastercards. I asked if I had to have one to gET it and if I had to give her the number, she said yes.

Option 3- I could have it put directly into my savings account or checking account.

She then asked me to verify my name my address and phone number, except the address was a PO box and I don't have a PO Box.

I told her I would select a MoneyGram through Walmart, and she gave me an ID confirmation number, WD729 and then she gave me a call back number that is 202 854 9987. She then told me that I had to call back right away in order to complete the transaction. I told her I would, but then decided to check your website first.
