Online Auction site with significantly reduced pricing. Won auction and received invoice within 90 minutes. Disclosed Banking information for an entity in Florida. Before sending money, I requested any form of insurance that the entity was viable. I was REFUSED by the female on the phone. I therefore did my own due diligence. I contacted CT and FL Sec'y of States, FL and CT BBB, Citibank in FL and so on. The license to operate was created in January 2024. Too soon to have information pro or con. They all stated this could be a "red" flag but i continued. There was no information on the Wire Transferee (except for the name and location - also created in Jan 2024). At this point, I went back to Uponerepos, LLC and requested VIN# of boat and any other information. Was told (via email) that this was not acceptable and not the way business is done. Lastly, 10 hours (and not the 24 hours I was allowed) after bid closure, my boat was back on the website and relisted. I did not lose any funds and maybe I'm old fashion, but that's NOT the way to do business.

This is an auction site. They say they are auctioning off reposesed cars through a site called https://uponeadvantage.com/ and an LLC called Uponerepos. They ask for information to auction on the vehicles. The prices are significantly discounted. It is too good to be true. Once you win, they send verification and where to wire the funds. DO NOT SEND MONEY! I researched and researched and found nothing on them but good feedback. Except for a facebook post stating it was a scam. I never sent money but they have some personal info.
