U.S. Department of Commerce Impostor Reports & Reviews (1)

I am not sure if this is a scam, but it sounds fishy to me. I received a mailing stating my address had been randomly picked for a survey. The interviewer is to contact me once a month for three months this year and once a month for four months next year. The interviewer called me yesterday and left a message to contact her. She said my phone number was associated with the address. The survey is supposed to help to determine funding for unemployment assistance, homeless shelter funding, and substance abuse treatment and prevention services. I did call her number and said I wanted to opt out. She said she would send another mailing and maybe I would reconsider. Even if it is legitimate, I do not wish to take part, but the interviewer sounds pretty pushy.
