U.S. Navy Reports & Reviews (1)

His name, age and location was Lauren Heil, 33 years old, and around Conway, AR at the time (about two weeks ago). In his text he said he was in Conway, AR. He was deployed to Istanbul, Turkey with the Navy. His email address he uses on Google Chat with me is ************. Phone number for texting is ********.

Here is what I also turned into Tinder:

I meet this man on Tinder named Lauren Heil. He liked me first and after reviewing his profile, I liked him back. At first we started messaging on Tinder for a few days. Then he asked me if we could text and if so could I give him my phone number. I said yes and we started texting on Tuesday, July 9, 2021. We text for over a week. On Tinder, he told me that he worked nights as a Fire Fighter when he was not on active duty with the U. S. Navy. He would text me almost any time-even at 9:40pm, he said he was at work at that time as well. I asked him where he was from and where was he. He stated that he grew up in Little Rock AR, but is currently in Conway AR. Please note that on Tinder it stated that he was 25 miles away from me- which would be correct. He said that he was getting deployed to Turkey with the U.S. Navy that Friday (he told me the day before about him leaving). It hurt me, but then he said asked me if he could still text me after he left. I said yes ( I didn’t think I would get hear from him again). He did text me the next afternoon-to my surprise. He had said that he was going to delete his Tinder app before he left, and he did. So a few days went by and he was texting me at least up to 3 hours daily. He said he worked the night patrol starting at 11pm with the Navy. One day, he said that he had looked all over the mall for an Apple Card. I don’t know what that is and told him so. He then proceeded to tell me that he needed to watch a work related video on his phone using Apple T.V., then he said “lol not really”. He then asked me to help him out by getting him a $500.00 Apple Card, scratch the back off, then take a picture and text it to him. I said I could not help him and that that was an outrageous amount of money to watch a video. He said that he believes that is the minimum amount for an Apple Card. He then said how about $200.00? And I said no. I apologized and he told me to stop apologizing- that he understood. I questioned him about why would he have to watch a video on Apple T.V., and he told me not to worry about that. A couple more days went with the steady texting stream as usual and he did not ask me again about the gift card. But one day he did state that he was still not able to watch the video link. A day or so passed on and he said that he was thinking about adding me as his beneficiary when he gets back to the States. He has said that both his parents have died and he has one cousin he doesn’t talk to because the cousin used to be his beneficiary and did him wrong about his money. He wanted me to so that if he was over seas I could get him things he needed using his own money. I told him that we could talk about it when I meet him. Then I asked him for a picture ( I would get one about every few days from him). I went on Facebook as I had previously done and found other profiles of him which i told him about and he told me to report those profiles to Facebook because they were not him. He said he closed his Facebook account down a while back. I tried to report it as a fraud, but Facebook wanted his ID which I do not have. With this last picture I found a new profile with the exact same picture that he had just give me. I told him. The next morning that profile was gone. Lastly, I went to the Apple store and spoke with a sales representative about Apple T.V. and the gift card needed to have Apple T.V. to open a link Navy headquarters had given him watch, but he couldn’t. The sales representative said it is a gift card scam. When I got back into my car and checked the Google Chat ( he wanted us to use Hangouts/ Google Chats because he said his text messages were slow-he asked me to get on with him a few days prior) he mentioned getting a Sephora gift card ( I had told him before I left that I was going shopping. I did not tell him I was going to the Apple Store). I then told him he was a fraud and that I was going to report him. He said he could not believe I was doing this to us and that I could report all I wanted. He said he still wanted to meet me when he gets back to the States. He is very cunning and very romantic with lots of romantic words. Please help in stopping this. The picture of him wearing the yellow and and the one with him holding a drink shirtless in the boat (*not in the below Facebook screenshot) are the two I seen on his Tinder account. I also included those extra Facebook profiles.
