I always call the balance in on Mastercard, has VA and retirement ss, it comes to us from Direct Express in California. First, I said to husband, I will call to check balance today (1/7/16 around 3:00pm) called Direct Express their own bank in California. Finally after waiting and waiting I got a live person, when I pressed the button for lost or stolen cards, I got live person and he looked at all the transactions that had been done yesterday, he said here is the one you are looking for $39.99 gave us a silly name and a phone number and that was the best he did, of this transaction. Then we hung up, and called that phone number 8779402582 and she said this is USA Premium Benefits (she said real quick), and I got on the phone, and I said who are you, who are you? She had the nerve to say (she said so fast) and she said it was authorized, and I said by who, not by us. She jumbled her words so that I couldn’t understand, then I said slow down, what do you sell and who are you? All she could said you have been authorized by your card. And I asked her who are you, how do you know us, what do you sell, what do you represent what kind of company. She had no real answer-she said the word discount something. Then my husband gets on and he said I want my money back you took my money, who are you, and got no where. Then she had the nerve to say, we will get you your money back as a courtesy 7-10 days you’ll get your money, how can we get it, it is a credit card. I got on the phone 7-10 what do you mean, it is a credit card theft. So then, my husband said she zipped through everything couldn’t understand. *** let go of the phone and said ok alright, and I blew up, because I wanted to talk again. I called back to see how legitimate they were, how do they answer the phone, just answers USA Premium Benefits Customer Service, then she said it’s being processed you will get your money back in 4-10 business days. Her name is Amanda, and she is always there no other girls working with her. She got mad at me when I said how you are going to send money back if it is a credit card, and I said you can put the money back today, and she said, no impossible, out of her hands. Then she said, I told her 4-10 business days. I told her you can do better than that, Amanda. And she said no, I told you it’s out of my hands, it’s processed and she hung up. When we called California the bank that handles MasterCard’s, he said the name was MDS was what the transaction was for.
