Dear Winner

I was contacted by a young lady claiming to be from USAID Grants; a supposedly Government organization. I was told I would receive $9000 today and was given another number to call for verification. This brought me to a person calling himself Billy Wilson. I was asked to pay a $200 registration fee in order to receive, through Western Union, $9200. Really.

This gentleman (so he claims) contacted me through Facebook through I thought one of my fb friend request). I went along with his scam. They have taken a lot of money from me. I reported this to my local police department and they said they could not do anything about it.

I was promised a government award of $100000,after i paid 1000$ I never received the award I asked where is my money and I was told they raised it to 250000 and I would have to pay another 6900, I paid a lot of money to them i was always told to get gift cards,I asked why gift cards, oh thats our mode of payment I was told to send another 350 and Fedex would deliver my pkg but it never got delivered so I called Fedex in Washington DC they had no pkg for me and they wanted another payment of 650 but i gave it up after all I lost $3000 to scammers, This scam needs to be reported to FBI it has to stop

There was a lady on messenger that contacted me who i thought was a friend of mine, it was not. They used her Facebook/ messenger account to set up the scams to people. She starts by saying Hello, how are you? then when you respond she goes on to say good to hear from you, hope you and your family are staying safe? then she waits for a respond. Then she proceeds to say I'm doing pretty good and extremely happy with the way things are with my life now. then she says less I forget, do you apply for USAID program? that is when she tells you to hang on she is trying to check on the appointed claim agent information she contacted to get her own money delivered. Then she gives you a number with the Agents name and tells you to send him a message that you just heard about the program and you are ready to apply for USAID program too. then she says you have to be honest and sincere with him, because he is a very kind and honest man ok. And tell him your information. When you text him, it isn't the same name she gave you, but a different last name. and the scam begins.

I was contacted by this scammer posing as a friend on instagram. It appeared real because they gave the name of a govt agent to text and they asked for my address, gender, age, name and why i wanted the grant. it seemed fine because i thought they were going to send a long list of paper work but they just sent a random picture saying i won then requesting money to be sent in order to receive the grant.

Recieved message from friend to text number to receive money. When you text it they want all kinds of private Information

They came in through my facebook account and said that they had this great deal with a phone number to call and hurry because David John was a busy man. They supplied the phone number and They said that they had this grant that we could take advantage of. if I sent them $1,000, they would send me $100,000 in grant money. $2,000 = 200,000, $3,000 = $300,000 up to 10,000 = 1,000,000 in grant money. They sent me texts on my phone which I still have but need to get to my facebook account to get them. They told me that as soon as I get the money, they would send someone over with a package from the Ups Team LOGISICA; AIM SHDPd Rep....serial : 8542189 - 92...batch number: 9056490602/444. They said not to share this with a 3rd party. They would send someone over from UPS and to show the person the numbers to make sure that it was me that they were giving it to. I have the whole conversation on my phone. They switched my facebook password so that I couldn't get back in. They sent me 3 emails that I still have and they added the account [email protected] to my facebook. Now, I can't do anything with my facebook account. Facebook keeps telling me that they sent a 6 digit number to my gmail account to fix my account, but I haven't seen any new emails since I got the ones from usaidgrant54. How do I fix this? What do I do? Can you help me?

I was contacted by a friend on messenger. They asked me if I heard about the good news. I said no and they mentioned the USAID Grant Money. They said they had an agent deliver a check for a large sum of money. They also mentioned they saw my name on their list to receive a check too. My friend then asked if she could send me the website so I could apply for the grant. I clicked on the website and was asked to send a friend request on facebook to the person from the sight. They then asked for my name, address, occupation, how much I made a month, my gender, age, if I was married, and if I rented or owned a house. They then said they would process this info to see if I qualified. They sent a certificate saying I qualified. I was to keep this secret so it wouldn't get intercepted. I was given information to give to a ups man who would deliver my check in 7 hours. I was then informed I had to pay for shipping and case fees. I stopped everything after that and blocked them from contacting me anymore.

My wife received a friend request from a person that she had previously worked with. She was directed by this friend to text someone about a USAID GRANT that she was sure that my wife would qualify for. The person requested a photo of her License to be texted to them. They had her fill out a form electronically and told her that she was approved. At that point she explained everything to me and after a little research I let her know that it was obviously a scam. I tried calling the number that she had been texting and got no answer, however, within minutes I received a text message asking who I was, how I had gotten the number signed USAID GRANT. After, I let them know that I knew that it was a scam they proceeded to confirm this by cursing me.

Tina Murphy contacted me by Facebook messenger, she impersonated a contact of mine. She claimed to be with USAID as a Federal Agent. They told me I was in a data base and qualified for a grant financially. The catch was to send $1,000 dollars in ITune cards to recieve tax free never pay back $20,000 dollars. I was to send the cards to a small town in Kansas to an apartment, not a business. I have widows brain and almost fell for this if it weren’t for 2 employees at Walmart I would have. Wamart are trained for these red flags. I scrimp and save for every dollar. Don’t be vulnerable to these people before you act talk to someone about it before taking action

I received a message from a person on my messages list on Facebook telling me my name was on a list to receive money and it would cost me money to get a large sum of money it is to eradicate poverty in society

My sister received a message on facebook from someone claiming to someone we used to know but who passed away a few years ago. Within in the messages she asked if she had heard of USAID, and gave her contact information to get in touch with them because she got prize money from them. My sister contacted them through facebook, said they would deposit money into her banking account and then she was supposed to withdraw the funds and use MoneyGram to send the money to some administrator. There were 3 conversations involved. One from the initial contact, one from this "United States Agency for International Development", and one from the "assist agent". They asked for all of her personal information - social security number, banck account, password, security question, driver's liscense number, etc.

All of the requested information was provided. As yet, no money has been taken from the bank account but the bigger concern in this is Identity theft.

Personal message from USAID stating I was randomly chosen for a prize of 30,000 and a Apple laptop. Wants 650.00 to be paid for UPS delivery.
