Bexar County Pretrial Interventions Reports & Reviews (1)

A man called from yet another (210) number and stated he was a lawyer. He said I had a warrant for my arrest and that I had opened a bank account and got a payday loan and then shut my account. He said if I paid restitution of $1038.12 I would not even go to court. I paid after being transferred to a woman who said she was on a recorded line and took all my info. A month later I disputed the payment at my bank and wanted them to see if it was a scam. After phone calls and emails I spoke to a woman by the name of Sarah Williams who was from "Bexar County Pretrial Interventions" who had collected my money. She wanted the money back or I'd go to jail. I sent $480 by pay pal. I decided to look up this place online. It is a real thing. BUT NO ONE by that name works there and they only deal with people who have BEEN ARRESTED in the state of Texas. They do not offer deals or debt collections. I lost about $1500.
