I also bought Bombas socks from clothesvipmailc.com and I received socks, but not what I ordered. They were authentic Bombas brand socks, but they are marked "Not for Resale". I think they shipped me the socks that were supposed to be donated. I contacted Isabel at [email protected] and questioned why they're marked not for resale. She said not to worry about it, but if I wanted a refund I had to return the socks at my expense and they would give me a 15% refund. The grammar and punctuation were poor and I would never buy from them again, even with the 20% discount they offered on my next purchase.

Scammer advertised a 50% off sale on Bombas socks through Facebook.

I received a confirmation of order from "VIP Service" and I then realized it was a scam.

I communicated with a "Jones Gregory" at [email protected] I told him I put dispute claim on my credit card because I realized it was not an authentic product (Bombas socks).

"Jones Gregory" emailed me this address to return product if I wanted a refund:

Mr. Lin

+86 150 6952 8047

Wenxian Road #768

Licheng District

Putian City

Fujian Province, China 351100

I received the fake Bombas socks with the following return mailing address:

Jane

371 Little River Falls, Suite 4

Cedar Grove, NJ 07009

I was given a full refund on my credit card even though I had not returned the fake product.

I was shopping for Bombas socks and a sale popped up. I thought I was at the Bombas site that I have ordered several times before from. When I got a bank charge for international fee of 63 cents, I got suspicious since I had never had to pay an international fee before when ordering from them. I got hold of bombas and they said they have no order for me, that the order number i provided them was not a bombas order number and that they have no affiliates over seas that i could order from. They recommended I dispute the charges since they are probably fraudulent. I was given a tracking number with USPS for the package...it does show a package with that number in their system. I have yet to receive the package...if, in fact, there is one. The name on my bank transaction is SOCKVIPONLINESH JHUMAT HOUSE 160 LONDON LONDON GBG

Fake ad placed on Facebook for Bambas socks. Bought socks. Confirmation e-mail received the next day. No product received after 20 days. USPS tracking shows it is in LA but not shipped out. Email to Allyson, contact person . Received a strange reply about software package will be slower than usual and for me to carry out logistics.? Lesson learned to NOT buy from ads from facebook.

Facebook ad to appear as Bombas the sock company, using their logo and photos of their merchandise. They ran a Black friday sale posing as Bombas on facebook.

Fake ad placed on Facebook for Bombas socks. Bought socks and received strange email from “Allyson” confirming purchase with no other contact information. I read this happened to another person from Facebook too
